With Tombs of Terror Launching soon I was wondering wich adventure was your favourite after all this years and how would you rank them (if you want to take the time to rank them)

(NAX, BRM, LOE, Karazam, KFT, K&C, Monster Hunt, Boomlabs, Rumble Run, Dalaran Heist and in case you reply later, tombs of terror)

Personally my favourites are Naxx and KFT. I feel nostalgia can maybe help Naxx right now, but I just felt the litch king fight in KFT as well as the Intro were just amazing.

Edit: As I now have more time in my hands, I rated the adventures on each category (being last doesn't mean being bad, I really enjoyed all of them, some more for the gameplay and some others for their flavour.)

Classic Adventure Format: KFT, Naxx, LOE, ONK, BRM

Rogue Like Runs: TombsOfTerror, RumbleRun, DalaranHeist, MonsterHunt, Dungeon Run.

Puzzle: Boomlabs.

Sadly there's no poll option here yet will you buy the adventure?

if you do did you preorder, plan to buy after release or will you spend gold on it?

personally I spent 2800 gold on dalaran's heist and I am not regretting it at all I already have 700 gold for the adventure's first wing and I am planning to gather all in gold since more or less you do earn 700 gold a week.

If I play the sidekick with an Amet in play. Targeting the Amet with the sidekicks battlecry.

Shouldn't the battlecry of the sidekick trigger first, giving the amet 9 life, and then gain 9 life itself?

Now the battlecry triggers, but the sidekick comes in play with 7 life. 

I wanted to ask for some opinions of which variant of Highlander Hunter is strongest or most efficient in most situations. I have seen many variants but can't quite make upmy mind about it. Would appreciate as many answers as possible :)

Just trying to have fun with the hunter quest and I figured I might as well get help from the neat people here.

To my big surprise, a new game board is here (I lost in turn 4 against Wild mech-hunter)

Twice in the last day I've received a notification that a member made a comment on my thread, but when I clicked it, it took me to an error page. I also tried just going to the thread it indicated, but there was no new comment by the member indicated. This happened twice, 2 different members on two different threads. What's up with this? I love this community and want to know what they're saying!

I was chatting with MalcolmReynolds about King Phaoris, and thought I might throw some attention on this deck I've been running in wild, around Rank 12. It's very fun, and can win many match-ups. Your early game options are super strong (Blackwing Technician, Garden Gnome, etc.) and they should guide your mulligan. If you have a Netherspite Historian or Firetree Witchdoctor, for example, keep a dragon, even if it's big. Garden Gnome? Maybe hold onto that Overflow.

I cut Nourish as I had hand size issues, and Grand Archivist because he kept punching me in the nuts, the bastard.

Make it to turn 7 without losing the board, and you should be able to go the distance.

Hey guys, I just wanted to share something that made me happy today.

I had opened a bunch of Uldum packs without a legendary, roughly 30-35, and I was getting a little frustrated. Today I opened a pack and hovered over a card to find it glowing orange. my reaction was "its about time, this better be good" I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a GOLDEN King Phaoris! This is a card I wanted to try out, but I was a little scared to craft it, and now I have a super shiny version of it! I usually dust golden legendaries because I am F2P, but I think I will keep this guy. for one, he is super shiny, and also this is a legendary I really wanted to have.

I will try him out in a quest druid and a big spell shaman. wish me luck!

Our website is generally populated by a community that tends to prefer and give upvotes to what is off-meta, or meme, and/or with funny description/story. That's ok ofc.

But the result in the Hot Decks boxes of the front page is often that a hot deck could be either a meme, or a candidate meta-breaker (more often the former), without the user being able to discern, before actually opening the deck page.

And imo, the fact we display memes or Casual decks as Hot Decks makes us look as weirdos to a generic new user trying to find a place to improve their Ranked performances with the game.

So my idea is, what about 4 Hot Decks boxes? One for Standard Ranked, one for Wild Ranked, one for Standard Just for Fun, one for Wild Just for Fun.

ALTERNATIVELY, the 'Just for Fun' could all be merged together in a unique box, Standard and Wild.

With 'Just for Fun' as the default option when an author publishes a new deck.

At that point, deck authors should be compelled (maybe with a warning that clarifies that, if they try to select it) to define their deck as 'Ranked' ONLY IF they can provide the description of some decent performances in Ladder. And it'd be pretty easy to spot scams anyway, since a weird deck with no detailed explanation is easily just a Casual deck.

The current Pro Decks (typically overlooked btw) could be merged in the new Standard Ranked, and/or accounted for with an additional variable in the visibility algorithm.

PS: if and when all this is implemented, an additional temporary Theorycraft box could be conceived, across expansions release times.

Are the decks listed on the front page in this section from tournament formats only or also the stuff the pros play on their streams?  I ask because most tournament decks are actually pretty bad on ladder.

Anyone else a fan? Anyone got any mods that will work on Windows 10?

New Features

• You can now display the card listing as card images!
  • The default will remain the table / text view since it is less to load for those on mobile or slower connections.
  • You can display the results as card images with the new "Results Display" dropdown.
  • Here are collectible card images displayed as images.
  • We might make these a little bit smaller to fit 5 per line as the default.
• The card listing can now filter by the patch they were added in.
  • The perfect feature for looking at all the raw card data we import during patches. 
  • This doesn't have an effect for very old patches. We'll eventually get all the cards updated properly though!
• You can now also filter cards by their text on card listings.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a problem with the Hearthstone Deckbuilder's Mechanics dropdown that incorrectly removed cards with multiple mechanics.

I know it only looks at public information, but the number of cards remaining in my deck is public, right?

Because when I'm facing an opponent with 10 cards left and I have 0 cards left and an empty board, what would be perfect would be Archivist Elysiana. Or even a Baleful Banker. Or Spirit of the Dead. Or Togwaggle's Scheme. Anything to give me staying power would be more useful that Tirion.

Seriously, what am I supposed to do with 5 gold? I don't play arena too often, so when there's a promotion/free ticket event, I get in there. I always get a 25 or 35 gold reward, then that 5 gold just sits there staring at me, laughing because I can't spend it. Am I little over-annoyed by this? Oh yes, of course. No rational person would get so upset. Just finished my second arena run of the week, just hoping to get another 5 gold to balance it out. Nope. You know what? You can TAKE my 5 gold back! I'd rather LOSE 5 gold then continue being stuck with this stupid little hang-on that I can't use.

Anyone else feel at least a little bit like this? Or just tell me I'm nuts. That's fine too.

This is for all that want to use unplayed cards and off meta decks. And in that case also a challenge to play.

  It happened by searching for a discover deck that i ended with warlock and well... diffrent. Kind of lackey warlock. Its a realy sinister history ....

So if you want to play unused cards, this has a lot of them. And thats the realy nice part.

I am still learning and testing that deck but already over 100 games. The deck works competative on ladder.

It is difficult to play (at least for non warlock players). Unforgiving but rewarding off meta lackey lock.

I described the cards in the deck. Think what you are doing. This deck plans ahead. Droping a merchant at the wrong time and you loose (mabe 10 turns later ) ...

FYI: Casts When Drawn always draws you another card. It never denies card draw. Just look at how Bomb works.

The idea is to have a neutral, playable but sub-optimal (maybe 4/3 would be better?) anti-Reno tech, that is not a game sealer against Reno, but it can buy precious turns (similar concept to Loatheb). Indeed, the shuffled cards are 1-costed, which means they can be cleared by Skulking Geist.

ALTERNATE, with a drawback for you (maybe this one should be called Nasty Cantrip instead)

Also notice it cannot prevent an early Zephrys the Great, because of its cost, and it's not an optimal body, nor a value generator for you (unlike Beneath the Grounds). Just a time-buyer against an incoming Highlander card, and barely a decent card anywhere else (similarly to Acidic Swamp Ooze, or Kezan Mystic).

• What do you think?
• Is the version with enemy 1/1 taunt more balanced and/or fun to encounter? Especially in Wild?
• Or shuffle just 2x instead of 3x?
• Maybe 4/3 would be more in-line with a tech card?

Deck ID Not Found

Draw and control.  Sometimes i have usless dragonfires in my hand but at that point I have both pyroblasts and my opponent explodes ^^. Feels competative but not enough games till now.

There's a new Uldum-themed board. Is there any official information on this?

Also a couple of bugs that I found with the image of a golden Titanic Lackey half missing, with the upper half being a sky, and Mad Bomber animation slightly bugged.

Did you guys spot anything else after the patch?

So, even though the Rogue's alternative hero power reads "Add a card from another class to your hand", it instead gives you cards from your current opponent's class

Did anyone else notice the patch that just came out?

Besides bug fixes and Tombs of Terror files there is one gameplay change - no more class bonuses for discovers. That is huge in my opinion! Control Warrior relies heavily on its discover effects - extra copies of Tomb Warden, Armagedillo, Dyn-o-matic or Omega Devastator are often crucial for the deck. Now Delivery Drone, Omega Assembly and Flunky all loose a lot of power. The deck is still likely very good against aggro, but should now have much bigger trouble in the late game.

What do you think about this. Is Warrior loosing even more of its power or is it fine just getting neutral taunts and mechs?

March of the Legion

The schemes are set, the troops are rallied, and the "FOOLISH MORTALS" are tempted... The Legion is returning to Azeroth!

This time they've come prepared with 54 powerful class specific cards! (with more potentially on the way)

Each set provides new "DEMONICALLY ENHANCED" support for a specific class archetype that has previously been low tier or even un-played.

Author's Note

I'm still quite new to custom card creation, and this is both my first time attempting to make a cohesive set, and my first time publishing anything online. I had a lot of fun creating this, but I'm aware it could almost certainly use some tweaking, so I'd really appreciate constructive criticism!

With that in mind, this is what I'm calling a Booster Expansion, a small update to bring under-used deck archetypes into the Meta by giving them a Boost in the form of new niche class cards, so for each set I will recommend some existing cards that I would use alongside my supplement cards.

As one final aside before we get into the cards themselves, despite generally being a Wild player, I designed these cards with the Standard Format in mind, considering that I find that the Standard Meta is more open to new and emerging archetypes, and It was a lot easier in terms of balancing.

Warlock Cards

Archimonde, Lord of the Legion has set his Warlocks to initiate the invasion, shuffling portals into their decks to create an unending swarm of empowered Felhunters in the mid to late game, closing out the match. Paired with on draw effects, and re-shuffles, those puny mortals won't stand chance!

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Fel Lord Betrug & Dollmaster Dorian
• Portal Keeper & Portal Overfiend

Druid Cards

Xavius, first of the Satyrs forces his Druids to engage in sacrilege by cutting down the very trees they once protected in order to power their demonic forces in this altered style of Token Druid, add in more Treant generation, and Buff cards, for a unique spin on an old classic.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• The Forest's Aid, Force of Nature, Soul of the Forest & Garden Gnome
• Dendrologist & Mulchmuncher
• Power of the Wild & Blessing of the Ancients

Hunter Cards

Hakkar tames monstrous beasts from the abyss, granting the weaker specimens to his Hunters to summon in smaller sizes in order to then set up for stronger minions, and swing turns later on, combine these with the newest Quest, and a few other powerful beasts, and burn your enemies to ash!

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Unseal the Vault
• Revenge of the Wild, Unleash the Hounds, Swarm of Locusts & Dire Frenzy
• Scavenging Hyena, Springpaw, Houndmaster & Halazzi, the Lynx

Mage Cards

Jaina was a Dreadlord spy all along! and even now, she and her Mages are still keeping secrets, their lies provide ample defence though, which could lead to a formidable control style secret deck alongside the anti-aggro secret tech added in the last expansion.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Ice Barrier, Mirror Entity, Splitting Image, Counterspell, Spellbender & Vaporize
• Arcane Flakmage, Kirin Tor Mage, Ethereal Arcanist, Arcane Keysmith, Cloud Prince, Sunreaver Spy & Secretkeeper

Paladin Cards

Yrel, once a beacon of hope on her homeworld, now leads her broken band of Paladins by the Legion's whims, sapping power from Divine Shields, in order to create a strong midrange minion based deck taking advantage of one of the Paladin's oldest but most un-used mechanics.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Hand of Protection, Righteousness & Pharaoh's Blessing
• Zilliax, Tirion Fordring, Annoy-o-Module, Sunwalker & Giggling Inventor
• Blood Knight

Priest Cards

Veneratus peered for too long into the void and lost his mind, now he leads a dark cult of Priests who turn light into shadow for the Legion, this deck legitimizes shadow Priest both as a value style deck summoning large minions without the drawback, and as a potential combo deck akin to old Mind Blast Priest.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Circle of Healing, Regenerate & Radiance
• Squashling, Hench-Clan Shadequill & Prophet Velen

Rogue Cards

Gallywix is always looking to profit, and a Demon invasion is the perfect distraction for him and his Rogues to rob the citizenry of Azeroth blind! These cards in addition to other thief style pieces could create a solid while varying deck, being fun and competitive!

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Bazaar Burglary, Pilfer, Clever Disguise, Academic Espionage, Vendetta, Pick Pocket & Stolen Steel
• Underbelly Fence, Hench-Clan Burglar & Tess Greymane

Shaman Cards

Zan'do was banished from his tribe for his unorthodox methods, but the Legion has welcomed him with open arms, his Shamans can utilize Overload with ease, gaining more than they lose to make a competitive Mana cheating deck.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Lightning Bolt, Feral Spirit, Lightning Storm, Rain of Toads & Lava Burst
• Unbound Elemental, Earth Elemental, Sandstorm Elemental & Sludge Slurper

Warrior Cards

Mannoroth is the taskmaster of the Legion's armies, his Warriors are pushed to their limit, their rage makes them stronger, and their pain is the path to victory in this self damaging enrage style control deck, making use of Taunts that if not killed in one hit, get stronger.

Some cards I would recommend for this deck include:

• Inner Rage, Improve Morale, Battle Rage, Rampage & Commanding Shout
• Redband Wasp, Cruel Taskmaster, Bloodsworn Mercenary & Frothing Berserker
