Violet Haze is a card generator, I like the idea of getting 2 minions for 2 mana.
Mountain Giant can be played on turn 4, if you get the perfect curve...
Also there are many other card generators, as Ravencaller, EVIL Miscreant, EVIL Cable Rat, Barista Lynchen and Tak Nozwhisker.
Former Champ is usually very good in many situations when you play tempo Spirit of the Shark. Or, you can profit by evolving the 1/1 into a 6 or 7 mana drop with the Witchy Lackey.
Don't forget that you have access to Shadowstep, so you can do a lot of bizarre plays with the cards that I mentioned...
Anyway, you'll generate a lot of 1-drops to slam with the Magic Carpet :))
Pogo-Hopper is just a good alternative in the late game instead of your main strategy.
Togwaggle's Scheme is a very versatile card indeed, you can play it on Pogo-Hopper, Mountain Giant, Heistbaron Togwaggle or even Zilliax, and is even stronger after the Myra's Unstable Element plus the Tak Nozwhisker's effort.
There are very few cards that would fit in this kind of "Zoo" list.
I'm testing some other valuable battlecry option as Arena Fanatic, Novice Engineer and Frostwolf Warlord.

If you don't like pogos, remove:

And add: +2 Sea Giant , +1 Bloodsail Corsair , +1 Hungry Crab ,[Hearthstone Card (+2 Argent Squire, +2 Backstab

I honestly liked the idea of this deck and I wanted to like it. But alas, I went 0-3 against 3 different decks. I kept finding myself with a full hand of things that I couldn't play. Like I would be stuck with Tak Nozwhisker or Heistbaron Togwaggle without the needed combo cards. That or I would have Magic Carpet and no 1 cost minions to play. Perhaps I just got stuck with bad draws, but 3 games in a row of that exact same scenario kinda burned me.
Try my deck. I hit legend playing Pogo Rogue exclusively.
same thing for me, 0-4, bunch of cards that don't work together and waiting for the synergy cards.
It's a fun deck but I've had very little success with it. Very enjoyable, bit hard to pilot, I bet someone with the same draw as me might have won that last game I blundered.
I'm looking at a more stripped back version, but I'm hearing that pogo is decent right now. I've always been into my pogos since boomsday, so will be elated if they eventually have found some footing in the meta.
I absolutely love this deck! I had a ton of fun trying this out on the ladder and each game was unique! I love decks like these, they make the game enjoyable for everyone!!

I really like the ideas that were put together in this deck, it sure look fun but I don't know if it performs really well right now, do you guys have any stats? I would be interested before I craft Myra's unstable element!
It looks good! But I don't understand why Violet Haze is in this deck...
With Preparation you get 2 cards and a combo for free.
prep+violet haze doesnt "get" you any cards, used together they just use up two card slots that could have been used playing actual cards in those slots, random deathrattles are not what wins you the game at all. all it does is allow you an early sea giant if played without prep on 2
