[SoU] Suicide Warlock (20-7 W/L)

In Saviors of Uldum Suicide Warlock got some really good new cards, namely  Neferset Thrasher and Diseased Vulture. I think these cards are perfect additions for a midrange self-damaging Warlock deck, because it already had a strong early game with Flame Imp, Vulgar Homunculus, Wrathguard, Kobold Librarian and the other usual Zoo stuff and had great finishers like Molten Giant and Hooked Reaver and now it has some excellent midgame with the new cards and the cards from The Boomsday Project (Spirit Bomb and Nethersoul Buster).

Gameplan:

  1. Mulligan for 1-2 drops, get early board control.
  2. Try to set up combo turns in turn 4-6 and enable Nethersoul Buster and Diseased Vulture with the self damaging cards. Don't get too greedy, a 3/5 or 4/5 Buster is already really strong and if you get 1-2 minions from Vulture it is insane! Just play aggressively for board control.
  3. Drop the Giants and Reavers ASAP, don't be scared when you get low, the deck performs best when you have 10-15 health.
  4. Use the upgraded Lesser Amethyst Spellstones (with this much self-damaging cards it is pretty easy to upgrade them), the remaining Spirit Bombs and the discovered cards from the Chittering Tunneler to clear your opponents minions and go face.
  5. Have fun!

Can this deck win against the best decks of Wild mode? Yes, you have a fair chance in most matchups.
Is this deck better than Evenlock? Probably not.
Is this deck more fun than Evenlock? 100% yes.

Feel free to change the list, it is far from perfect, but it works quite well.  (Sunfury Protector is the only card that I feel weak in the deck right now, so maybe I will change it and just play any random 2 drop that fits the deck better or I will put in another self-damage synergy card, there are a bunch that I left out, like Duskbat, Blood Witch, Pit Lord, Floating Watcher, Deathweb Spider, Riftcleaver etc. etc.)

Please write a comment if you try the deck, have fun and make Suicide Warlock great again!

1.Edit: I've only played a few matches, but the deck feels quite smooth in most matches. I might try to actually climb with it in the future.

2.Edit: Currently rank 6 with this list. Surprisingly Big Priest is not an unwinnable matchup, but it really depends on who gets the better mulligan.  Exodia/Quest Mage is also pretty annoying, but against board control oriented decks this deck is a beast. (Even without Despicable Dreadlord I won every game against Odd Paladin.) I will probably replace Sunfury Protector with Demonfire for more snowball potential to improve my chances against slower decks.
