Skeletal Smith adds a new synergy path for Death Knight, that being weapons. With Blood being the tanky Rune that's all about fighting up-close and personal, it makes sense. Skeletal Smith synergizes with your weapons by giving you some extra board presence, and with one a single Rune, it's easy to splash in weapons from other Runes. It also has synergy with Blood's handbuffing cards.

This Week's Theme: Naxx Out?
Some felt a bit disappointed that Return to Naxxramas didn't have that much representation from actual Naxxramas in it. Let's do something about that.
- You must make a card out of the mobs, bosses, or locations from Naxxramas.
- Whether that's taking something that's currently unrepresented in constructed Hearthstone or simply giving one of the bosses a better card for the modern-day environment, is entirely up to you.

In the Naxxramas raid Razuvious swings for monstrous damage, to the point where you must mind-control his followers so they can Taunt him and take the hits. So in Hearthstone, he has high stats but only attacks Taunt minions! Imagine this card in a world where the Death Knight received some kind of "anti-Taunt" package: giving enemy minions Taunt to focus them down, benefitting from being Taunted, and so on.

Do not confuse these spiders with the Crypt Readers. Those are just book worms.
A simple card meant to support the Deathrattle archetype Rogue received in March of the Lich King. The renewable Stealth is meant to represent Nerubians' ability to burrow underground.

I wanted to create a card that felt Naxxramas, and that meant something that played with the themes of death. Noth the Plaguebringer was not really explored in Hearthstone, and as the cause of many deaths and undeaths, he felt like a great way to explore Naxxramas' themes flavourfully.
Noth completely tips what Death Knight does on its head using its bread and butter mechanics. Minions give +1 Corpses on average on death? Now they give -1, for a larger board impact. This limits Noth's effect on the game, and forces the player to ask questions both in deckbuilding and gameplay. Is emptying your hand with Noth first worth it, so that you have a sticky board but no corpses, or is it better to conserve and gain corpses for better plays in the future? Should you play Noth on turn 3 even if you dont have great things to reborn, or should you greedily hold him until you can play your Gnome Muncher and more expensive cards you'd want to target? How many corpse spending payoffs are you willing to run with this?

This location gives Taunt warrior access to a powerful board clear, contingent on them playing Taunt minions to refresh the location and get the damage out early enough to counter aggro decks. Four durability might seem somewhat high, but the card is weak when played on turn 3 and limits both your deckbuilding and plays (as you need to spend your mana playing Taunts to refresh it instead of other cards) so the additional 2 charges help to offset that weakness by giving you an additional boardclear to hold in reserve. In the late game, this location can also still be a good topdeck if played alongside a couple of low cost Taunts.
As for flavor, this card gives off the feeling of facing a boss who deals waves of AOE damage to you, which fits with Naxxramas as a raid. Additionally, in HS Instructor Razuvius is associated with Warrior, so it makes sense that the Military Quarter would be a Warrior location.

Necrolord Patchwerk doesn't need to pay for minions... He uses his own bits to create them!
Don't know much about WoW? No problem. Just looking at the original Curse of Naxxramas adventure can give you a good starting point.
