In League, Thresh collects souls and pulls his allies. I tried to translate it in HS while also giving him his stats from LoR. Drawing a Soul Fragment properly is pretty hard so I wanted to give him a good payoff if you get one but not incredibly unwinnable when you draw a bunch.

For this design, I wanted to capture the ability of LoR champions to "Level Up" and transform into a stronger form after reaching some requirement. In this case, Darius is an understated Rush minion, but after you've summoned enough Rush minions he become 6 Mana for 16 Rush damage (some of which can hit face). However, the opponent can still play around this by not leaving up units with 4 or less Attack, preventing Darius from surviving and transforming. I would expect this card to see lots of play in the Rush Warrior archetype, potentially with Playmaker to push lots of damage.

Hecarim's character in LoR summons spectral riders and his lore involves turning armies into spectral riders as well. The effect is similar to Cannonmaster Smythe, but for the players own minions. The token card shows an example of what it would look like for a Possessed Villager. Once the rider dies, it summons the minion that it transformed from.

This Jinx design is largely based off of her LoR card which revolves around having an empty hand dealing damage to the enemy. The card in particular is modeled on her Leveled Up form which gives you a cantrip and creates a Super Mega Death Rocket! in which its main purpose is to deal face damage.

Here's what I tried to do with Jarvan IV:
Barrier = Divine Shield
Challenge = Rush
Level Up = Deathrattle: Shuffle the Prince card into your deck.With the second card I got a bit more creative, but the effect is still closely tied to the lore:
"When his men were driven in fear from their posts, it was Jarvan who rallied them. When they were wounded, it was Jarvan who directed healers to their aid. […] it was the prince’s leadership that had held the line."
One could also say that the Prince version teaches the weaker minions it summons the abilities of the primal version - just what a good commander is supposed to do.

Rather than going for a HS version of the card that LoR has, I went for an approach that is closer to the gameplan Garen has in LoL. And since Warriors already have Whirlwind effects (a bit like Garen's E) and Executes (Garen's ultimate), it only felt natural to create something that represents those effects on a single card (the deal 3 damage part can also represent the equivalent to Garen's Q). Stats also represent the fact that Garen is more of a tank than a pure damage dealer and the lack of a keyword represents his lack of hard CC in his kit.

In Legends of Runeterra, Lissandra is all about summoning large Frostguard Thralls, so I tried to capture that in this version. A "Big" archetype card would be a natural fit for the Druid, I thought, but I added in Shaman to spice things up a bit. She's ultimately a Dragoncaller Alanna for costly minions.
To fuel the Battlecry, you can try to cheat your way through it via cards like Celestial Alignment, Galakrond, the Tempest, Muckmorpher, Bandersmosh, and Giants. Elise the Enlightened lets you play Lissandra twice, effectively doubling-down on the effect.

Pretty good in a Bounce Rogue of some kind. Any minion you return to your hand can be played right back, and any minion returned to your opponent's hand is basically destroyed.

From what I could gather, in LoR if you have minions in play, your "hero" can't be attacked, unless the attacker has Fearsome, in which case only minions with 3 or more attack will block them from attacking. Since in Hearthstone, only taunt minions block your hero, I came up with this.

While I would've loved to make Aphelios, my current most favorite champion in LoL, you can't submit that many cards, as he has his five weapons. So I settled on Riven instead, who, while has different effects for each single Blade Fragment in LoR, can at least be changed to fit the current submission design space. So I did just that.
Just like in LoR, you create three Blade Fragments to combine them into a Blade of the Exile. Blade of the Exile for my HS adaptation of Riven has similar functionality to what the LoR weapon has - it gives +2 Attack (but +2/+0 makes for a better aligned text), Charge (Overwhelm in LoR) and Immune (Quick Attack in LoR. It even costs as much as the pre-buffed version of the LoR Blade of the exile, and HS Riven shares the same stats with LoR Riven!
So yeah, I tried very hard to implement as much of her LoR persona into HS while making no more than four cards. Demon Hunter + Warrior dual class combo is a cherry on top, as both classes enjoy attack buffs, Immune and Charge, aswell as solid stats on minions.
While League of Legends has over 150 Champions at time of writing, we're specifically looking for cards depicting one of the 58 Champions that have found their way into Legends of Runeterra so far.
You aren't constrained to just their depiction in Runeterra, however - if there's a particular skin you like the art of, feel free to use that as a basis for your card instead!
