I wanted to create a card that synergizes with the current archetype in Forged in the Barrens. Hunters are in a poor spot, when it comes to variety of archetypes and new mini set doen't seem to solve this issue. So I came up with this idea:
The more you play this Beast, the more it will summon in the future (up to 7). This minion itself could be a win condition if you can play it multiple times (thanks to cards like Dire Frenzy, Selective Breeder or even Youthful Brewmaster). There are multiple hand buffs in the meta that could make it even more powerful (like Don't Feed the Animals, Shan'do Wildclaw, Invalid Deck ID, Invalid Deck ID, Scavenger's Ingenuity etc.)

The first blood-elven Paladins were created by sucking the Light out of a Naaru and transferring it to some regular Knights. This was done by Mages, hence the connection between Paladins and Mages.

Pyrotechnician is meant to punish Control and Combo decks that tend to hold on to their cards and play only what's necessary until they beat you. I've been undecided whether this should be able to go face or not for a long time, but ultimately, it would defy the purpose of the card if it couldn't. It gets balanced a bit by the fact that you can't rely on playing against opponents with a large hand, especially if you want to play it on curve.

A board clear card with a unique scaling effect, encouraging you to play as many duplicate cards as you can. Playing any copies of a card past the second will not stack the effect again, but just that the game detects that you've played the card more than once. As with other cards of this nature, the card in-game will include a counter of how many times you've scaled the effect.

Contrary to the dormant effects we have today, Xaj, the Coming Darkness benefits from staying dormant, rather than awakening. Fun idea of risk vs reward. You occupy a space on the board and hold off on awakening Xaj right away, to reap the reward of possibly an 10/11, maybe more.

Rogue by itself has Shadow and Nature spells, allowing this to potentially be a 5-mana 6/6 Rush at minimal investment. In a Burgle strategy though, Rogue can access all 7 spell schools, giving potential for a 0-mana 6/6 Rush, which is much more exciting.

Your card doesn't have to be infinitely scaleable - a card like Rafaam's Scheme, which can really only scale up to 7 before it does nothing more, would still count for this prompt.
