Because sometimes just evolving your board isn't fun enough. Let's evolve your whole deck instead (or at least the minions). Wave of Evolution will replace your minions with much bigger minions and reducing their Cost, representing a lot of value. However this amount of value is slightly offset by the fact that the minions are completely random and thus will lose synergy with your deck.

What's the difference between a Mage and a Shaman? Mages pull rabbits out of hats; Shamans turn rabbits INTO hats.

I thought it'd be funny to submit this card in a competition called 'New You'.

It works similarly to silence but it has different applications. It can't be used against a Deathrattle minion to remove its effect. It can be used more often with your minions to heal them or restore their Frenzy or Rush effects.

Once the greatest arcanist of Dalaran, she retired to the forest after an incident which involved trying to polymorph a mirror.

The transformation happens before the ping, so if you can remove all minions except your preferred target (or if you're lucky enough), it will be instantly removed.

As she travels and trades, she gets higher quality transmogs! You can use it on enemy minion to remove some buffs or effects you might not like, but be wary since you might give them a better minion if you use it on something too big.

A big minion that can be played in parts early game when you draw them, or you can wait until 8 mana to play them both and reunite them. When transformed back into Yara and Balgruf they have rush and are a new minion, so they can smack away immediately.
