She may be on an exploration mission like Finley. I don't know how she could fit there though, but the background of one of her Mercenaries portraits ("Baroness Elise") is a strong hint
I thought the same after release and didn't play it. After a while I tried it again and it is my main mode now. What I like is that I can set my own goals and it is rewarding to achieve them. And I can take my time and own pace. Standard HS only made me salty.
I play 2 hours a day and did spent less than 20 bucks on it and have a full collection by just doing the tasks. Trying to find an effective way to do the tasks and to do multilpe tasks at once is also something I enjoy in Mercenaries.
It took me a few tries to get this one. First time all spawns went into a single merc. And in the second try a second mass hysteria was to much. So it's very luck dependent.
There's a nice comment on OG's video which I recommend you to give it a try. It takes likes 2 minutes and if it doesn't work you can still do OG's suggestion.
Go to BRM Heroic 1 with only Kazakus and Y. I had to restart once because I went into a mono blue encounter. Kaz summons 4 DS Golems and Y uses skill 2. Turn 3 you remove the DS and in T4 you start Rage Unbound.
Don't waste your time on that one. It says you have to kill the boss in Darkshores, but he's in Sunken City. No matter how many Pirates you bring to the boss alive. No matter if you skip all the Boons. There is no workaround and we just have to wait until Blizzard fixes it.

The wording on this makes me angry. Why explaining what a card does if you can write something which explains absolutely nothing?
Wasn't there a recent Twitter thread about this topic? The player should be 90% knowing what a card does? Well, here I'm at mostly 10%.
On which side is the sack summonend? What happens exactly when the sack is killed? This leaves more questions than answers
For a successfull climb in heroic bounties you need to do 2 things: carefull map selection and pick the right team for each encounter.
1) reroll the map until you find a good path to the boss. What is a good path?
- have a spirit healer somewhere behind an elite fight
- have the option not to take the swirl. Potatoe can ruin your run or at least makes it more difficult
- avoid boons
2) don't brainless put your first 3 mercs in. Consider to put one on the bench, regarding the enemy's color composition.
Identify the most dangerous enemy and focus it. Check the passives on them. I lost somr mercs against green Naga until I understood what they do.
The new mobile commercials are to annoying. I consider to quit this page.

Mercenaries uses only existing art. Like the Cookie fish.
The Miniset came earlier than expected, too.
