Rather than just releasing it as it is, Blizzard seems to have other plans. The BlizzCon in November2023 would make for a great stage to celebrate the official release and introduce players to the world of Odyssey. It's just the perfect opportunity to present us all the details and features we are waiting for at the moment, live on stage.
Basically the TLDW is, the OW team were split in 2, 1 maintaining the live service PVP experience and the other side doing the PVE experience. The PVP side was already making the company money while the PVE side wasn't so ofc the money hungry corporate heads made the decision to trash the PVE entirely and I'm sure Jeff saw that from a mile away and left when he could.
So after the nerfs, only poor Druid got impacted which forced the class to become the new warrior as the dumpster tier class (as per HSReplay). The rest of the nerfs (and buffs) did...nothing?
Definitely agree with Big DH. Been playing that deck for a while now coz it's skill cap isn't as high as spell or outcast DH. I don't even have Brutal Annihilan and still win games. Pulling out a Xhilag of the Abyss on turn 5 with the coin is an instant win.
I'm keen to try Druid again and see if those companion buffs are anything to rave about. I was really enjoying Werewolf druid in the previous beta but did find the mana generation a bit annoying.
Probably still gonna be either rogue or sorc at launch though, I'm torn between the two.
Most likely you need to look for Diablo 4 - Server Slam client coz it's named differently. But then again this was my experience on the desktop battle.net client.
I'm assuming Hogger was removed coz of the newly introduced Underhand Dealer (After you gain gold, gain +1/+1) It would scale too quickly with Hogger is my guess. Looks like Record Smuggler is the replacement for Hogger.
Nerfing Overseer Frigidara to 7 mana would make it more clunky coz then you can't curve into Frostwyrm's Fury. Just hoping this small change along with the overall DK rules rework makes the class a bit more manageable to deal with.
Zeddy suggested a better option where DK discovers only discover cards with 1 & 2 runes, making 3 rune cards feel more special/unique, like Climactic Necrotic Explosion
Lightshow was surprisingly good in this brawl. Thought it would be slow at 3 mana but the damage ramps up pretty quickly by turn 6 where you can cast 2 of them.
I instantly deleted my beta client as soon as the last weekend was over, guess I'm gonna have to re-download the client again coz can't miss out on that mount trophy :D
Also the Ashava boss fight never gets old. Now I want to try kill her without dying
Damn this song was the song to choose when playing music rhythm games like guitar hero
Beat Saber is insanely fun on VR and a heck of a work out when you need to duck and jump to avoid blocks. Nice to see more games coming to VR
Well, EU and other countries have already approved the merge and even the UK Chancellor is unhappy with the CMA

There's no auction house in Diablo 4 and the game is solid so there won't be any issues there.
My expectations:
New IP has to be the unannounced survival game where a lot of the HS team left to work on: https://earlygame.com/gaming/blizzards-new-survival-game-is-reportetly-almost-here

I wonder if that unannounced survival game will be announced at Blizzcon this year 🤔
This video highlights some interesting reasons for the failure to provide the PvE experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxPbdtZ770c

Really Blizzard. You've tried to push Big Demon DH since the class' inception and you nerf it immediately after it's somewhat viable. 😑
Not impressed

There's actually quite a nice variety of archetypes going around atm which is refreshing. Dare I say this meta is still evolving?

Really like these off meta decks. Completely forgot spell DH was a thing and keen to try this menagerie rogue list
Here's to the future on Out of Games!
So Team 5 hasn't forgotten that Tavern Brawl exists?! 😅
