  • Cool idea, but I don't think this card will see much play.

It's a great value generator, but Highlander might have an issue with this kind of card (which is very common currently).

Maybe wild value decks end up running this for more card generation?

  • Love this card idea, and love the art even more! Also super fun board animation!

TS got a lot of flack for board RNG being relevant, but the board RNG doesn't feel that bad to me.

To me, board RNG just feels like I am rolling a die at the beginning of the game that designates an effect to this card for the rest of the game, and the effect is almost always better than other cards with similar effects.

  • This seems very strong to me for control. This might even make Shadow Word: Horror a regular for Priest in wild?

In standard, I suspect this won't make the cut except for combo gimmicks with Cabal Acolyte, but we'll have to see.

  • Deal to damage to a minion for 1 mana is already solid, so the fact that it has an upside that linearly increases means this has a lot of potential.

Beasts and Hunter go together so seamlessly, so this is bound to give Hunter another solid removal tool.

  • It's a new kind of egg. Not as strong as Nerubian Egg or Devilsaur Egg, but not as weak as Serpent Egg. I'm sure it will see play of some kind, but I'm not sure what deck it will fit into best. It's also a beast, so it has synergy that the other eggs don't have. Looks solid!

  • Great Arena card. Great discover card. Not much else to say. Too slow for constructed to actually run in your list.

7-cost minions aren't even that desirable, so this isn't even that promising.

  • Ridiculously strong card--Jeeves but better. Aggro/Embiggen/Pirate Druid in wild just got a little scarier?

Hyper-aggro lists will love this card, and I expect to see this in aggro lists that lack card draw.

  • Really strong idea, but probably pretty weak in card in practice.

Feels like it should be a Priest card, and I suspect it won't see much play in standard.

Nevertheless, I look forward to making more Thief Priest deck lists using this card.

  • Will probably see play with Guardian Animals, but that's about it. In fact, without this card, I'm not sure Guardian Animals is playable.

Outside of big beast Hunter/Druid, I don't see this ever being relevant.

  • Very reminiscent of Living Dragonbreath (providing an effect that has a lot of potential, but will likely only pop up as a tech card for the pros under certain circumstances).

Cool idea and flavor, but I don't know if it will make the cut with the rampant AoE in Hearthstone.

  • I am extremely excited for this card because I love making spell damage decks!

I want this to be good enough to bring spell damage decks into the meta, but it might be too slow to fit into spell damage decks (not too slow in that it doesn't have a big enough pay off, but too slow in the same way that Animated Avalanche is generally too slow).

Nevertheless, I am going to be playing with this card a lot throughout this expansion.

  • I think this is going to be really strong, but maybe it's too slow as a Murloc?

This might be one of the few Murlocs that makes its way into non-murloc decks because of the rush and deathrattle rush minion to hand.

Might be too slow overall, but a solid neutral rush minion with an additional upside is rarely un-played.

  • Blatant power creep on Alleycat.

Hunter loves 1 mana beasts with an upside, so this is definitely going to see play. The fact that the bunny has devil elements to it is fitting because that's exactly how I think people will feel about this card after a few weeks.

  • This card is going to be a staple until it rotates. It's Shadow Bolt with a very strong upside, and it fills a void in Mage's current board control for the early game.

Now that spell damage is being pushed in Mage too, this card is definitely going to be the go-to removal for Mage until this rotates.

It's also nice that it forces board placement thoughts from the opponent.

  • Another Rager that will see no play?

Maybe Paladin can make use of this in a divine shield and/or Salhet's Pride deck, but I doubt it will be any good.

  • Obvious comparison to Twilight Guardian as others have pointed out, but probably better?

I'm not sure if it is actually better, but it seems like it should be just because the stats are better and the conditional is easier to meet.

Regardless, experimentation will be the only way we can tell.

  • Even decks love him; odd decks wish they could have him; and Demon Hunter is going to abuse him.

I think this is a strong card, but I don't know that it will see play in standard outside of aggro beast decks.

Aggro even decks will love this card to death, and I look forward to trying him out.

  • This card is solid, but probably one of the weaker studies cards (at least for standard). Perhaps this enables some combo shenanigans, but I don't know of any obvious ones off the top of my head.

The deathrattle pool is a little too large for this to be used for the discover part of the spell, so I suspect it will be used mostly to enable earlier plays of deathrattle minions already run in a deck.

  • I am super excited to play with this card! I love spell damage synergies, and I love that this enables both Shaman and Mage spell damage decks.

This card also seems solid since it damages all enemies and can scale. Despicable Dreadlord is a solid card, and Ras is even better.

Looking forward to trying him out in Odd Shaman and some kind of spell damage Mage in Standard.

  • This is such an awesome and terrible effect. I'm excited to use this effect, but I know it is going to be tilting to have my minions Rapid Fire'd down.

I'm excited to experiment with this in some kind of hunter deck, but I'm not sure it will be consistent enough to be any good.
