Thank you for writing this up. I especially like the game lore/history that you put. When things were good, why and how they were used. I find that very interesting. I was around for most of it, but still gives a lot of "Oh, yeah...." moments.
For me, when I first noticed it the sign said 5 weeks. When I check last Wed it had changed to 4 - but I forgot to check in the day before.
I checked yesterday (Tue) since they like to do releases on Tue. I have feeling they do that to tie it into a Brawl either ending into the release and/or starting the next day.
I also think this one is starting a bit later than the last one by a week or so. But since they haven't even done a preview or put it up for pre-order the timeline makes since.
... 3 weeks from today. Probably about 10:00 AM PST (as usual) I checked the graphic about 8:30 this morning and again at 10:30. At 10:30 it said 3 weeks.
So, it looks like September 27 at 10:00 AM.
I bet we get an announcement today. Just speculation but it would seem right.
I put this in some of my "for fun decks". It is a great soft taunt and even drops a taunt each turn. Can really mess with some mid-range decks that don't go wide.
I think we will see the quests more and more over the next year. As balance changes happening - opening the way for other types of decks and with new cards over the next year some of these quest will sneak up and become good.
Some quests, I think, are so low on this list because everyone got one for free and try to build decks with it. Even if they don't have the best cards to support the quest. And trying different ways to make the quests work.
Also, some of the quest decks are harder to play. This being said, some less experienced/competitive players are lowering the success rate.
I have had this card swing the game a bit. I think it can be a really good card for mid to late game decks. Keeping on of these in my early hand has been a game changer.
A niche card for sure. I can see this card being key in certain match-ups. Especially if they give any more cards that convert health to armor for Pally's.
This happened to me today.
All I can say is that the horror is REAL! :)
I think this is a good step in the right direction.
Also, It is nice that Blizz is making changing fairly quickly considering the world wide aspect.

Looking forward to the next one.
I am sure we will get the next X-pac. I expect there will be lots of dragons. I think the the dragons are going to fighting back.
What I really want are some of quality of life features they have hinted at:
Tournament mode
Better personal stats/history
A random card back mode where you can pick the pool of cards
More deck slots
Other types of play - Perhaps by Season. Or Speed games... Or an XL mode (bigger decks and starting health)... Or....

Good Hunting!
Great as usual. Well worth the time.
One of the cards that is clutch in some metas. If it is weapon heavy this guy should get you some draw with an OK body left on the board.

Beyond the obvious board clear.
The elemental tag on this guy can make all the difference. Instant heal for Jena. Great in Elemental shamans.
This guy is iconic. Great card. Also, one of my favorites to "find" when playing other classes. No one expects him.
One of the most versatile cards in the game. Takes a while to learn just when and how to use it. But can really make a deck viable.
Probably the most classic Finisher in the game. Great and satisfying animation... Unless your Horus and on the wrong end :)
More Holiday Spirit!
Really fun looking decks! Thanks for posting this. I will be trying a few of them out I think..

I really like this card. Of course, I like priest so. I do like that you have to be careful of what is in your Res pool.

I am IN!
Where do I sign up?!?
