  • Logged in this morning, saw that The Arena was greyed out and that I still can't play a game with SN1P SN4P because for some reason, and despite blaring about the 3/6/19 being The Rise Of The Mechs, they still haven't updated the bloody game in EU, and came here to moan about it. 😔

  • £16.99 for 20 packs, a new hero and a card back? Hell yes. Count me in. Don't have a clue who this Hero Dude is (never played WoW past getting that Alternate Paladin Skin that I never use) but he looks like a bad ass... 🤔

  • Sadly, and looking at the language used and syntax etc, this dude was English. That makes me sad. And embarrassed. But mostly sad...

  • Hey hey hey! No reason to be salty at the moment really. Unless..... Nah.... Could I? Yeah....

Seriously. Fuck Big Priest. Hard. With a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat.

It's time to get Medieval on Anduins ass...

  • I was intrigued, as I am by any new CCG that claims to be a Hearthstone Killer. In a way its no surprise it failed. It was overly complex to play and follow, it had a bizarre price point compared to the other games such as Eternal and Shadowverse and it was just hyped waaaay too much.

     It looked nice though. 🤔

  • Been coming here since it was Hearthstation and a much better place it is. Hopefully Flux and the other guys keep it clear and I'm sure it will be great. Especially out of the clutch of Curse.

Well if it weren't for Blizzards new deck helper those would be valid points, but the new deck helper makes you able to finish your "deck idea" with some decent choices.

    At least that's my opinion.

Not saying netdecking is bad per se, but I think there is another solution for the arguments given.

I don't think that's how it works though? I'm not sure but I think it works by picking the very best deck available with the cards that you have. There are a couple of different 'layers' that the Deck Helper uses. The first one being the 'Meta Layer' which is an algorithm that looks at the most popular decks being played at your Rank. Then it proceeds to create a deck built around that.

So in effect you are creating a Meta Deck. Just with the cards you have. True its not 'Netdecked' per se but it is as close to a Tier One deck as you can get.

Which wasn't really the point of my OP....

  • Hi all...

I know. Its a little bit of a clickbait title isn't it? But I'm of the opinion that sharing decks with people is a good thing.

I'm not talking about those decks that become Behemoths in the field. Those Page One Monsters that everyone plays because "Day One Legend In 25 games! EZ!!". Nope. Not those.

Dig a little deeper and you find some real gems. Look for a Random card in your Collection that appears terrible (Arena Treasure Chest for instance) and search for a deck built around it. In the depths of the Internet there are many and varied ones that will appear.

This is the beauty of 'Netdecking'. Finding those crazy decks that might just work out for you because everyone else is playing those Page One Monsters.

Maybe it's just me. But that's the whole point of the Internet isn't it? To share ideas?

When I started playing MtG around '95 or so my friends and I had to rely on word of mouth and Magazine Articles for the newest and baddest decks out there. Now it's easy.

So I implore you all, just because someone says Netdeck it should not be a bad thing. On the contrary, let's embrace it.

  • If its a trial for some sort of Sealed Format then yay! If not then boo.....

  • Really loving this Adventure so far and especially looking forward to the last Chapter!

  • No way Flux. You guys do what you have to do. If it results in an even better experience for everyone then so much the better.

Enjoy the New Rotation etc and I'll se you guys on the other side 👏👍

  • As much as I want this card to work (I really really love it and will be crafting it Golden, because that Moustache is EPIC) I don't think buffing it regularly is feasible. Sadly 😭

  • Yup. If you ignore the fact that Bomb Warrior is probably not going to work, that still leaves Rush, Control and possibly Recruit.

Warrior fast became my favourite Class over the last year or so, with Recruit and Rush Archetypes finding permanent homes in my Decklist.

I wouldn't despair just yet OP. Things are looking OK for Garrosh and Magni at this time.

  • Meh. It's a poor man's The Boomship

I love me some greedy Recruit Warrior but this won't be finding its way into my deck. But discovering it would be OK.

Pseudo card draw for Hunt and another synergy for broken Zul Jin, mmm

Nah man. Zul'jin doesn't need Random Spells. When you play that card it's because you have chosen the Spells that go into your deck. You don't want to Explosive Shot (for an example) your own board do you?

Back to the card. It's good. A 1 mana 1/1 Beast that provides a little boost to your hand. Luvverly.

  • This is a great card. Need a Beast in a pinch? Done. Need a Murloc? Done.

Nightmare Amalgam has just started to find traction in the Meta game and this will do a perfectly acceptable job as well.

Another well designed card, perhaps a little too tuned. But we'll have to see.

  • Yay! Another Minion for my Wild Casino Mage 😊

In all seriousness this is actually OK. 10 mana for a 6/6 that generates another 6 cost Minion? It could be amazing. Especially if you can cheat it out early.

  • I love that Thief Rogue/Shuffle Rogue is still getting support. Hope I pull this, although I don't think I'll be crafting it. 🤔

  • Hi guys. So I was idly browsing my collection just now, thinking of putting together a C'thun Mage for a few shits and giggles in Wild, when I realised that I had 18 decks already.

How? I don't remember making 18 decks. Most of them I haven't touched in Months (take a bow Keleseth Rogue and EvenLock) so I'm seriously considering a Deck Purge, especially as Rotation is coming up and almost all of the Standard Decks I have will be gutted.

Do any of you have this problem? Putting together decks without realising how many you have already? Or is it just me?

I wonder how I coped with only having 9 Deck slots before... 😬

In reply to How many is too many?
  • I'll be trying it out early for sure. During the first two weeks of a post rotation Meta I always play ZooLock. Always. And this might well find a place.

Yeah it's a little slow but hopefully the new Meta will slow down a little as well.

     Here's hoping.
