Everyone is mean to the OP. But if you have a look at the data, quest shaman is not under 50% winrate. It's most popular version is at 57% or so since the nerfs. This winrate is not nerf-worthy, but it's definitely not pathetic either, like some people are implying. Data here: https://hsreplay.net/decks/PYOgOeR71E7VgYcr6lFR6c/#gameType=RANKED_STANDARD
Yes true it´s not that bad of a deck , at least since the nerfs are out but i still think that it struggles against a lot of the other Decks right now.
I just ended up throwing Recurring Villian into my Quest Priest. I doesn’t help the Big Wall Archetype, but its something fun to think about, having an immortal minion on the board.
That's a neat idea ! i didn't even think about him - sure lilke you said not the best Rezz Target for Big Walls but still a good minion that the opponent usualy has to remove
Looks decent even tough i think the secret version would be way better! but if you do not have Subject 9 i guess it could be a little weaker than it should be - i mean you could still try the Secret Variant without the Subject ...
I also saw and tried a Highlander Mech Hunter using the Bombs - doing pretty good - and even better since the Nerfs because there are not as much Warriors as before :)
So maybe that could be a list you could try.
And i think that's it - that's the Highlander Hunter Decks that i know of that are good or at least pretty decent for laddering.
So to sum it up:
Secret Highlander Hunter or Mech/Bomb Highlander Hunter - the other lists are not that consistent i think!
And i personaly do not like the idea to put Dire Frenzy in there - sure for late Game and once you've drawn your deck but i guess that could be replaced!
VS likes Overflow, but I have not. At least not in these more midrange-y lists. Perhaps I'll add it back in if I go back to being all in on Nomi if control warrior is still popular (it doesn't seem to be at the moment).
Phaoris has really performed well for me, but it was only 1 day of testing. He's one of the few ways to proactively apply pressure if you aren't running the token Taurens and the like. You're usually summoning 2 or 3 six drops with him plus a few odds and ends. Obviously, the drops you get vary wildly, but it demands an answer because a Cenarius follow up would be game ending.
Ok for now i will play without Overflow and see how it goes with Phaoris! even tough the only way i could follow up with a Cenarius is if i Discover him from a card, but my opponent does not know that :)
I added the Siamat today because that last open slot could be basically anything. I've seen a bunch of people playing something else there. Siamat is kind of like a 3rd copy of Oasis Surger. Or on an empty field with windfury becomes very scary with Cenarius
Looks pretty decent but i do not have Cenarius or Wardruid Loti so i would have to change it a bit - and i`m also not sure about King Phaoris - i will defenitely try him because i have seen him in a lot of lists, but shouldn't i put more Heavy Spells in for Phaoris? Like Overflow for example?
I updated the List and took out the Florist in Favour of King Phaoris.
Well, i personaly think the Warrior Quest Deck is awful. Not that strong and not that fun to play. Like Avalon said you could try Big Warrior - that is a lot of fun :) - Or if you simply wanna make the last 40 wins fast try somekind of Aggro Build.
But i would not recommend to Craft the Quest.
For Hunter .... well there are lot`s of different Builds you could try - truly depending on what you wanna play... If you wanna have Fun you could try some sort of OTK Hunter using the Crocodile or King Krush :) - otherwise Deathrattle or Mech would be the way to go i think.
... 3 weeks from today. Probably about 10:00 AM PST (as usual) I checked the graphic about 8:30 this morning and again at 10:30. At 10:30 it said 3 weeks.
So, it looks like September 27 at 10:00 AM.
I bet we get an announcement today. Just speculation but it would seem right.
Good Hunting!
Didn't it say 3 weeks until it opens 1 week ago?
And i always thought they would open it beginning of September like the 5th and not at the end ?!
The only quest deck with a 50+% win rate when played was Making Mummies. At least it was a few days back when this very site did an analysis of how the quest cards were performing. Might have changed some with nerfs but... might not have!
As far as i know Making Mummies is still the Nr. 1 Quest regarding the Winrate. Sure i see more Quest Shamans then Quest Paladins but most of the time i face these Shamans i win :)
Well both are fun to play but i think that the Priest is gonna be stronger or more consistent regarding the Winrate.
I'm playing Druid right now to get my golden Hero Portrait but i personaly would prefer the Priest. I also played Quest/Wall Priest before i started the Golden Portrait Run. Heres my list:
i just tried it with Shaman and Rogue and it does not work - at least not for me - as soon as i tried to make the text show up so the Smiley and the Hearth should pop up the card vanishes and the Program shows me no Picture at all - only a Plugin-Needed sig
I'm not 100% this is the way to go, but it's how I've been playing the deck the last week. Instead of adding Choose One cards that don't really fit what I'm doing, I've been playing Worthy Expedition. If I could play 3x Nourish, 2x Loti, 2x Cenarius, etc. in this deck, I would.
Unless I'm playing a token version, Tauren, Mark, and Power of the Wild don't do much for me. With Expedition, I at least get a shot at the cards I actually want in the deck.
I also noticed you aren't playing Innervate, and I'm being increasingly convinced that it's core to the deck. There are obvious uses with the quest when you aren't on coin, but it has some fun tricks later in the game as well. In your early quest completion phase, you can toss the Innervate out as a way to continue quest completion, while still removing something with BEEES!!!! or Swipe. In the mid/late game, you can fill out your curve and then toss out Innervate to still draw with your Crystal Merchant.
Though, admittedly it really sucks to draw a dead innervate after quest completition.
I realy thought about putting in Innervate but was not sure - maybe because if i would draw them late they would suck ... maybe i'll try them and see how they perform.
I am on EU server also, currently resting at level 5. Maybe murloc shamans sometimes as well. Or I remember the quest ones better because they irritate me more lol.
Ok - im on rank 4 now and mostly face Murloc Shamans but true the Quest Shamans are more memorable ;)
You're trying to do too much here. And they don't work together, IMO.
If your ending the game with Maly, you don't need Nomi.
Nourish is the best or second best card in the deck and you definitely need to play 2x. Tending Tauren seems really out of place here. I presume you're playing him b/c you don't have Cenarius. He's not a substitute. Just don't play him. Likewise, Mark of the Loa is weird here. Tauren and Mark are for token based Quest decks, which this is not. Stalladris hasn't impressed me. If you're ultimately going the Maly route, you probably need dreampetal florist.
With all of that out of the way - I'm not yet convinced that Quest Druid needs a combo finisher now. We'll have to see where Warrior goes from here, but yesterday, at least was primarily aggro warrior. More honest quest decks might be the way to go for now. FWIW, King Phaoris is a beast in those.
Yes i will cut Nomi because like i said most of the Games get finished with Maly - therefor will cut Nomi for a second Nourish.
Kinda yes , i put Tending Tauren in for some pressure on the Board and because i do not have Cenarius :)
Mark of the Loa is kinda like the Tauren - to contest the Board - Keeper Stalladris worked good for me so far , because if i play him early on the Spotlight from the Enemy is allways on him and if he does not have something to clear he can help you with early wraths for example.
I will try Dreampetal Florist but so far he was not needed :) :)
any suggestions for a replacement of the Tauren or Mark of the Loa ? (or both)
And i thought about Phaoris - but i wasn't sure if he would be good - mabye i'll try him.
Vanilla was amazing back there because everything was new, nobody knows a thing and even raids looked cool because they were gorgeous to be in them.
Looking back at those things after all this years you'll see just long grinds, boring encounters and terrible design flaws that made almost all classes viable with only one build.
In 6 months more than half of the players that now are hyped will probably leave it, because those memories cannot be revived today.
Yes, i realy loved the Classic Vanilla WoW - everything was new and you had to find stuff for your Quests on your own. Fights, Raids, Quests - everything was different. But good different from now :)
But i also am not sure how long the playerbase will stay - like you said 6 months could be the breaking point and lots of players will leave because the Hype Train and reliving the Vanilla will be over ...
Yes true it´s not that bad of a deck , at least since the nerfs are out but i still think that it struggles against a lot of the other Decks right now.
Somekind of Co-Op Mode would be very cool! and not just only for the Brawl - like a Co-Op Ladder or something
That's a neat idea ! i didn't even think about him - sure lilke you said not the best Rezz Target for Big Walls but still a good minion that the opponent usualy has to remove
Akali, the Rhino
(Mana Cost)
Looks decent even tough i think the secret version would be way better! but if you do not have Subject 9 i guess it could be a little weaker than it should be - i mean you could still try the Secret Variant without the Subject ...

Very fun deck - and the Guide is exceptionell. You Sir did an awesome Job!
Kudos to you!

Not sure if you wanted to reply to me ... because i never said anything about Barnes ;)
But the idea sounds good even tough i already Disenchanted Barnes a long time ago because i only play standard :)
Elise is mostly in there to Copy the Moonfires - Nomi was not needed so far so i guess i will cut him for a second Nourish
