There are still some strong Warlock decks out there, one of the top contenders in the meta being Galakrond Warlock, as spotlighted in Shadows' article yesterday. The more regular Zoo isn't it the best possible spot right now so it might be a struggle. There are some lists that are still doing well, like this one from HSReplay (although it has a low sample size). It seems quite cheap (if you exclude the legendaries; they help but are not needed) if you want to try that one out.

Just swiped all units in and clicked ok? Or carefully misplaced them one by one :D ?

Sometimes having him attack first is the correct thing but if you're aiming for upgrading him during attack, then it's not ideal.

There's always next year, and I'd imagine the amount of egg/bunny cards won't skyrocket before that.

Noblegarden just began yesterday in WoW so there's still a chance for a Hearthstone event as well. They haven't announced anything but maybe we'll at least get a Brawl or something.

That is true. He finished last in his group on Grandmasters Season 2 and was relegated as result.

It's definitely the most challenged one out of these.

Don't worry, we definitely have one coming and I'd imagine it'll be published later today.

Hello, can I please change my name to Helios? Helios is my in-game tag as well.

Done, although now you made me look stupid for calling you Techwood in Wild Weekend Decks.

Could my name be changed to magmalizard please?

    Sure, done!

I was betrayed by the author of the deck it seems :D The deck has been edited after I wrote this.

You don't have to figure out how to fix Baku if you just nerf the card that causes the issue :D

But yeah I'm not convinced that these nerfs are enough. I hope everyone has kept their extra copies of DH Outland cards, we might get a big pay day in the coming weeks.

That's what I initially thought based on the list as well, but I think the real OTK part required him to get Doomhammer from Zephrys the Great and then do the spell shenanigans. I'm not sure if it's one of his "default" 5-drops or if it's super hard to pull off.

It has been confirmed on Reddit that the tweet image is correct, not the one in the video.

As they're doing these for all regions I'd expect the lightheartedness to decrease, at least with Shadow Isles. Looking forward for those videos, nevertheless.

You ask tough questions, it was hard to come up with anything proper for some rarities:

    • Basic - No strong feelings about any card tbh. Rarely sad to see Polymorph in my hand though, and Acidic Swamp Ooze is always a nice tech.
    • Common - Another really tough one. I always enjoyed a T3 Twilight Elder during Old Gods era, and Rumbling Elemental brings back memories of the good old Battlecry Shaman from time before Shudderwock. As a control elitist I also like Restless Mummy, versatile and balanced.
    • Rare - I'm gonna take the risk of forgetting a Rare I really like and copypasta Defile as my answer. Such an elegant anti-aggro tool.
    • Epic - Continuing with Control Warlock, I'll say Twisting Nether. Plague of Death is even better as a board clear but for some reason I don't like it as much. Maybe it's because Zephrys gives Nether when the situation get sticky. As a person who likes to overtech his decks against everything I have to give an honorary mention to Skulking Geist.
    • Legendary - Frost Lich Jaina. Easy. Shame on you link for not picking her. C'Thun deserves an honorary mention though.

Yes that's how it works. The only exception I know are Overwhelm units, they'll strike the nexus anyway.

I really had to check if Ghostly Charger actually was still Standard. And yes it was. Not that I would've seen much Paragon of Light either.

I think the idea is that you "lose" Akama Prime if the regular Akama gets Bamboozled. You're correct that you can't lose the Prime itself to the secret unless some mass Silence happens before that. And at that point you wouldn't mind losing a bare 6/5 minion.

Well, if you're coming back then you would be at least able to tell us if blizzard has started giving away free decks like they said they would to returning players. Not so sure what's the time frame to receive the cards though.

They should've, although I think the system did have some bugs in it at some point. In order to get the returning player deck, you need to have not played the game in four months, which sounds like OP would qualify. For reference, you can find the deck options in our guide if you wish to think about it in advance.

Given that I'm a moderator at Hearthstone-related site I might be a bit biased, but I very much agree that the game has been heading towards a better direction. Duplicate protection makes opening packs a lot more fun and the ranked revamp brought a lot more incentives to play. If you loved playing Battlegrounds though, it's heading to a less f2p direction with the new Tavern Pass, although the gameplay itself is unaffected. Regardless, it should be worth to give the game another spin.

Archspore Msshi'fn sure looks strong to me, as does Blizzard's meme game in naming its Prime's Choose One tokens: Msshi'fn At'tac and Msshi'fn Pro'tec.

And Demonxz95 is correct that only one Token will be summoned with "Choose Both" effects: Fungal Gargantuan. Now that's a golden animation!
