You're compensated by having both your old cards (which you can dust) and getting the new core set for free.
When we made the decision to purchase at a point of time, and that product later gets discounted or retired, I don't think its even remotely logical to then demand for compensation, especially since we're talking about products that have existed way beyond 1 year.
Why would I hold to something that I can't play? I'm not a Wild player, And, Classic set will be unusable to me personally, because I can't play wild with only Classic set, so everything unusable to me is automatically dusted, which was the whole point I'm trying to say. And to tell the truth, I don't feel very 'compensated' with that ~1/4 value of my own collections. I owned all those cards, is it not fair if I get the same value out of my own collections?
And no, I'm only gonna discuss the classic set. I don't really have personal opinion on the Core set as of now. (whether it's good or bad)
While I agree that all quest should be able to be reroll, I wonder if there's gonna be any use for the 4th slot in the weekly quest. So far, Legendary quests always placed in the daily one.
By removing Classic set, they automatically trashing a great deal of time (and some money) I had collecting all those cards. And I can't push this enough, that every player should be compensated for that (or at least get the same amount of dusts for all those cards). And I don't think I'm asking a lot, because getting a fourth (1/4) of dust from a set that's been around for years is inadequate.
EDIT. Turns out, the dust gain is even less than a 1/4, since all Common is valued at 1/8, and Rares at 1/5.
Hero would be the same, Cost 9 with +5 armor, Battlecry: "Deal 2 damage to all minions, if they died, summon a random demon" Hero Power, Summon 2/2 Infernal Beast with rush. No weapon.
Reading from replies, I assume BM is "Bad Move", so if it is then - Roping is one of them. - Another is when your opponent wait until near the time out to execute their lethal but you're unsure if they have it. - Another would be opponent emote of saying something like "That's a Mistake" of what I played. And it kinda feel good when I can turn the table and win.
But for the most part, is opponent adding me as a friend and bad mouthing me coz I owned the game and quickly remove me from the list. That's why I never accept anymore friend if they are recent opponents.
Wait, turns out there's more than just that simple question. Well, I had my own highlander deck which consist of every tech card that can answer every situation. Armor removal, Anti Secrets, Anti Deathrattle, Weapon Removal, Board clear, Anti Ressurect Priest (like Magtheridon to add useless minions), Silas, plus zephrys if it's lack something else. So far, I'm not proud of having a 25% winrates, but I love how opponent sometimes concede in the middle of game because I counter everything they did. I don't know if it's bad move or not, but I'm loving it.
Since few cards returning from wild, I think they want to avoid including any old keyword. So those cards is gonna be without any keyword, but still pack a punch to the Standard meta
While it's good to set the blacklist, I don't agree pointing someone bad for any reason. The idea could be misleading when you add someone just because you don't like the way they play, or for any simple nonsense reason.
I guess you could set it for another purpose, like someone cheating out the Play a Friend Quest.
Just like Hearthpwn, and they have more refined list. But it's not too late to start another list, new site attracts new players (sort of) or somehow merged it with Hearthpwn? (Flux?) You decide.
I always missed the opportunity. I guess different timezone kinda sucks. But here goes.
Should they change the effect of Discard so that opponents can't see what card getting discarded? I mean, It's already a downside of losing a card, but doesn't it seems unfair for opponent to see it as well?
Since classic rotating out, it is now safe to open all the classic packs you hoarded until now. I hope to get a few missing legendaries from my 12 packs. LOL
So there's a chance of HoFed card getting back into Standard? Way unlikely (at least to me). *I could be wrong about this, since Dean pointed out Old cards getting back, but which one? I don't really know.
Buffing old cards makes more sense (nerfing is less likely, since the power level of each expansion is increased everytime). But still doesn't answer about Hall of Fame itself.
Well, goodbye Archmage Antonidas I guess. T_T
I wonder how many legendary cards each class get?

Permission to steal the deck, captain! Thanks

Did anyone reach lv.350 yet? I never seen one so far. But if it's true, is that mean they're no longer getting any gold whatsoever?
EDIT. Mine is 157 (No Bonus pass), expecting to reach 200 if I keep playing like I did by 23rd March.

My thought on New Jaraxxus.

while I don't know if it's gonna be like Basic HoF that turns into common cards, but I'll still try to get it tho.

Might be a good idea to raise all your hero to lv.60 to get all the golden basic cards, so you can get extra dusts when they rotated out.
If you get them again, please tell.
well, let's just say I was here earlier and it's not the same as of now.
Um, reward track recap, *players should not have to load up excel to break out things in excel*
just a typo.

So, I believe this has nothing to do with Hall of Fame getting removed? Really can't wait for Blizzcon for any info.
