I also notice not "really" being able to quote anyone's comment, or at least not the way it used to work. You can click "quote" but it appears as simply replying to a comments and doesn't bring the "quotation material" in the text box anymore.
Welcome on board of this thread @Me0203 ! 28 hundreds is an impressive amount of Druid & Mage's ranked wins, and your Shaman one aren't too shabby either!! Even when taken into context, and accounting for the years of leisure time invested in the hobby over time, over a decade, I find our collective records unbelievable! For my first few years of playing HS, I don't think my winrate was even close to 50%, facing opponent with golden potrait was almost psychological warfare and making me second guess each and every play. When I finally attained my first 500wins, it felt amazing and outstanding! It has since then lost some of its glow, but I still treasure these achievements and congratulate each of you for those remarkable exploits!!
To now dive into your question "What's your favorite and least favorite 1000 win portraits? Illidan is gorgeous (gimme). Pirate Valeera, on the other hand, is just plain silly." I'm including the full template to give some support - Valeera does look kinda Halloween's silly and anyway has better options, and I agree that Illidan is probably what keeps me going - Illidan was my favorite upon reveal! Thrall and Malfurion don't seems much different from their already alternate versions ... My least favorite easily goes to Rexxar for the goofiest face expression...!
I feel the exact same way! Warlock & Paladin were my go-to classes back when I first started, 10 years ago ..! And since I've reached 500 wins with them both, I barely played with my preferred classes. I had a small re-gain of interest when they introduced the 1000 wins portraits, but it was quicly completed, as they also retro-tallied our wins for Brawls & Arena as "ranked wins". I even think I received a portrait or two following that update. Those milestones having been completed a while back, I had barely played any Warlock or Pally since.
DK & DH are my sole remaining 500w and 1000w portraits to unlock. I guess at some point, it'll all be completed and I'll feel free again to pick and chose only base on archetype and playstyle interest, but by then ... we might also have a Monk class to add to the grind?
