Worst rank spell so far, just isn't strong at any point in the game. Doesn't even work with the legendary mercenary as it's not a shadow spell.

It's a preeeeety good card, especially for a neutral. Surprisingly versatile overall, since it's useful even without buffs.

Seems roughly on-par with [card]Everyfin is Awesome[/card], maybe even a little weaker since you're usually buffing 3-4 minions at minimum so the cost reduction comes in handy, but still a great card no doubt.
