I'll indeed try out that Priest deck. Seems lots of fun. How about finding a spot for Barista Lynchen? With all those battecries it will give tons of value (even more than usual considering it's an highlander deck).
Thanks for the list and the excellent work, as always.
I've played WoW for 10 years, from its release until the end of the Cataclysm expansion. But then life has taken so much of my time that I cannot play a mmorpg at the level I want, so I prefered to freeze and move into something else instead of keep up as a casual.
But I've been interested in Warcraft's lore since WC1, so I've always been interested in every quest, every event and the like. Actually I keep updated on what's going on even if I don't play anymore.
Before SoU the meta was so stale that I can feel the pain of a streamer that should face the same 3 decks for like 4-8 h of stream.
Also the Specialist format was so terrible that even tournaments' views have dropped (again seeing only 3 decks being played make it so terrible).
The first few weeks of a new expansion set are always good, but in the long run we can only hope that there will not be such a polarized meta towards so fews decks.
Quite happy about it because I'm (or was) a Priest main and I always craft all Priest cards each new expansion, but also quite disappointed because the Quest per se doesn't seem good and so I still wait for a new archetype that may renew the class (pun intended) gameplay.
I cannot wait to see how Zephrys the Great will work. So excited to see some more (powerfull) highlander specific card. The other new singleton card are so underwhelming sadly.
availability of Tempo or Midrange for the Highlander scheme
Highlander decks have always been control/combo archetype because an aggro/midrange deck want first of all consistency and a singleton deck provide the opposite. Actually the only 3 cards that have enough value to justify a 1x deck are Reno Jackson, Kazakus and now Zephrys the Great and the two older ones are pure value card that are terrible tempo playes.
Amazingly interesting form a "mechanical" point of view, but I'm also going to immediatly test it out into Wild with good old Kazakus in my RenoMeca'thun Warlock. It could be a great addition there, but it also the best highlander card of SoU by far.
Something that seems good... For Priest ! It looks pretty good, with tons of flexibility and the reward is a sort of better Justicar Trueheart's upgrade so it doesn't completly "change" the playstyle.
I really hope that something like a sort of control/tempo deck will show up, using strong minion like Injured Blademaster to both put pressure and build up healing for the quest, then starting snowballing with the HP buff during the mid game.
Yep, it also looks like Thijs didn't recieve any card to reveal and that have upset people even more considering he's probably one (if not the most) popular streamer of HS nowdays on top of being a multi-world champion.
Another bad marketing decision by Blizzard, I suppose.
It seems people get upset because a card was given to Toast to be revealed, even if he doesn't stream HS anymore. While indeed the whole thing was badly handled by Blizzard, I think that also Toast should have not accepted to reveal a card since he lefted the game.
Ofc all this nuisance around a single card reveal is also absolutly out of place, imho.
I don't see any new powerful archetype getting into the meta after the first few weeks of experimentations, but some cards will indeed find a space in some of the already existing one empowering them even more.
But we're still missing some Quests, so maybe there may be "hidden gems" that can create totally new decks.

Found Zephrys the Great on my first pack. Considering it's the only card I'm really interested in, I think I'm pretty happy.
So nice to see such a detailed lore's explanation.

If you have a golden class, you should always have a golden HP no matter if the card that interact with it is golden or not.
Sadly it doesn't work this way, so if you wanna keep a golden HP you need to actually play a golden card.
Congratz for the partnership to Flux and all the others. This really show who is the best around.

Absolutly one of the most interesting card ever. I will sure try it out on Wild alongside Kazakus.
I was waiting for this news. So funny.
Yes! The Specialist Format was so boring to watch, just the same three decks over and over in an endless (and terrible) loop.
Probably by forcing more Classes into the pool also Standard's Ladder will experience a bit more of diversification.

Seems really good. Probably the one that I like the more among all the Quests untill now.
