I would have to see the other Shaman cards, because this is a bit of an odd duck. Sure you can pair it with Corrupt the Waters, but is it worth the effort? I don't know yet.

Cheap spell generation that inflicts an acceptable amount of damage for 1-mana. Mage is a pretty easy place to fit some Dragons IIRC; seems like a fine card. Good, but not OP.

The only concern I have with this card - or at least, the supposed archetype - is that big spells + big Dragons = a top-heavy deck. The card is awesome, but can we make the combination work?

"Good card" and "will not see play" are not mutually-exclusive: you can have both at the same time. Because in a way you are right: sometimes there just isn't enough space for all these good cards. As of this moment, Diving Gryphon does not really have a home in the currently-existing decks.

...which is where I take issue with your argument, because I feel you're being short-sighted. SN1P-SN4P is on the verge of rotation, to name one example, whereas the Gryphon has plenty of time to still see usage. Highlander Hunters today might become Rush Hunters tomorrow, or at least slot in a larger Rush package, and the Gryphon could find a home there.

It's fine. Not much more to say, really: it has okay stats for its cost and the effect can really ruin someone's day. However, the card is kind if boring and often wont make much of a difference. So...yeah. It's fine.

Without more class healing I'm unsure how well this card will turn out. Doesnt matter if you have a 4/12 and six 6/6s if you're within range of lethal. Still, it's a soft taunt and a major threat if left alone. I like it.

Overload keeps things in check, 'cause otherwise this would be the best card in the game. Doubling the Battlecry with Corrupt the Waters is the dream, but your Mana Crystals will be offline because of the Overload. Realistically it's a turn-9 or turn-10 play, not turn-7. Blazecaller was easier to work around.

Still a great card, just maybe not as busted as some claim.

Not worth the effort at all. This is Epic-level pack filler, although I'm sure someone will try to make it work with Dire Frenzy, Hunting Party, Togwaggle's Scheme, etc.

Late to the game, but it will still be useful if something as ugly as Kingsbane rears its head in the future.

Volcanic Potion that can turn into a cheaper, albeit not complete Consecration. Seems like a solid card to me.

Until we see the other Warrior cards, I have to give this a 3-star marking and leave it at "could be good, could be bad". One assumes now that they're planning to print more Pirates, but who knows what archetype they might fit into. Traditional Aggro Pirate? Something slower? Pirates mixed with Galakrond, the Unbreakable? This weapon just came out of nowhere.

Big bucks, no whammies....yeah, this card is way too RNG-reliant for my tastes. I'm sure we'll see it combo'd with Plot Twist for maximum meme-ry.

It's Shadow Bolt, but it can draw another Shadow Bolt (or some other damage spell Rush minion). That's pretty sweet.

It's your pack for picking a team in that Battlegrounds tournament. One for participating, one if your team was the winner.

Yes: in the example video, Thrall pulled Azure Explorer and Ysera, Unleashed, neither of which are normally available to Shamans.

That should be what it is for, yeah. One for picking a team, one additional pack because your team was the winner.

I'm crafting Alex for sure. Slot her in my Highlander Dragon Hunter alongside Dinotamer Brann for even more late-game freebies. Muhahaha!

No but seriously she's a really good card that will help the Good classes stand against Galakrond. Her potential is insane.

I don't play Cyclone Mage, so this card isn't for me and I can't fully evaluate it. That being said Dragon Soul was a failure, and I feel like putting it on a temporary body - even for a class that cycle their spells better - is another recipe for failure. I gave it 3 stars in case things turn out okay.

Awesome card, hope I pull some. We still need to see the Warrior's Invoke cards - come on, Blizz! - but this looks like an auto-include for sure. The more we see of Galakrond Warrior, the more excited I become.

In Wild at least, I think I would rather play Netherspite Historian. You can play her on turn two, and don't need a Dragon already out. Dragon Breeder, to get the maximum value, would require you to sit on him until after a mega-Dragon has already hit the table, which is a pain.

Still, it's a good card. Just...not as good as the Historian, in my opinion.
