  • Sadly seeing the Warlock cards revealed today, only two are even useful and not by a lot. Vona can be great and Health Drink is decent. For Tess replays you could try to bounce what Vona summons..  but thats so slow. HD's can also blast your tess if she is unlucky enough to catch two and anyone who plays her knows how talented she is at offing herself if u give her even half a chance...

  • Thief Rogue Main here. Can u believe that I regularly make Legend on the Wild ladder? I do. It's all I play.

     

    Yes. Just yes. This is the biggest thing to happen to Thief since Tess herself! It really speaks for itself. Crafting this golden Day 1.

     

    Access to Warlock cards is a bit of a bummer (they are the ones we mostly avoid) but hopefully the Warlock cards in this set are worth slotting in (you cannot any other ones). Anything that is 100% good replayed like Full-Blown Evil or Symphony of Sins increase the value of this card.

     

    However a 6 mana 6/5 discover a hero card is already EXCELLENT without the Tourist trait. I run Harth and Zephrys in my Wild deck for that reason to swap out of Rogue (that way my schemes, my evasion, my cloak of shadow, and etc replay with every Tess).

     

    Still in disbelief seeing this and grinning ear to ear. It's phenomenally great and I proclaim that Thief in Wild just got 20% more powerful >: D

  • Hi, Thief main here. I make Legend in Wild with a homebrew highlander of it regularly. Does this summon itself if you are not Rogue? Not sure, probably not. I don't like it. It may be stuck in hand quite a while before you can make use of it. Most cards replayed will have random targets and most minions dont have rush. Ir's potentially amazing valueI hope itproves me wrong.

  • Thief Rogue main here that regularly makes Legend in Wild. Hmm. My initial reaction is no. It is too slow and inconsistent. The 2 mana 3/2 that played a secret saw play. This however kind of forces you to make a suboptimal play at times or dead card in hand. 

     

  • Thief main here. Regularly make Legend with a highlander thief in wild. I think it's good judging on the double-purple concoction being clutch at 5 mana. By the time you need it this will cost less. Depends on meta if theres a lot of weenies on board its trash. Will enjoy experimenting in wild since if you change your class Tess can be destroying 4 random minions!

  • Guy who plays literally nothing but Thief Rogue in standard and wild here. Got Legend in the latter last month so listen up...

     

    After carefully examing both pools in standard there are actually a lot of favorable picks that you would like replayed by Tess.

     

    High rolls include Walking Mountain and Hookfist-3000. Low rolls are anything to do with playing elementals last turn (admittedly theres like 8 of these) and Lightray.

     

    It's uncertain to make the cut since Shell Game kind of has add random crap to hand for cheap covered right now, but I look forward to trying it out and it may surprise me.

  • Make it double its attack at the start of my turns and we can talk.

  • How cool. I havent noticed that but will check back if my diamond Velarok ever does the same

  • True form:

    3 mana 3/6 Charge. When this attacks discover a card from another class. It costs (3) less.

     

    I play nothing but Wild Thief Rogue (climbed to Diamond 2 last month) and this card is at best not very much better than what we already have access to and at worst it is yet another dead card in hand (this tends to be a weakness of thief rogue when you get too many Tess effects too early or weapon buffs but no weapons etc).

     

    With 2 Shadowsteps this is a 5 mana 3/6 charge deal 6 damage kinda. Add 3 great cards to your hand (probably..). Ok that sounds enticing sure, but you have to do the math that that is like a 6-card combo for not that big of an effect so I'll pass.

     

    My problem with this card is mostly in the top-decking. In fact, even in my starting hand I worry if I can consistently get 3 cards from other classes PLAYED when I need dude to hit something when a 3/6 is viable stats!

     

    As a Burgle Main I really hate to say that this card is probably bad. It really saddens me because I was hoping Rogue would have gotten a Highlander effect. Something big like Battlecry: for the rest of the game replay a card from another class you have played or something. It's really too bad..

  • Boldly predicting there to be a Sham spell that reads, "until end of turn gain life equal to the damage dealt to enemy minions". It will naturally cost 3.

  • I honestly can't see how this won't be overpowered as crap unless aggro is constant.
