  • It's probably past your mind before. What if there was an event where quests were offered maybe..... 25% of the time. Or 100 if we're going nuts. And you'd be offered a random of the 3 quests for every class (sorry dh) and a higher chance of receiving the necessary support cards for them if you do select to take it. On paper it sounds really fun. Do you think it would work?

  • No idea if this helps make constructed  good again.... But awesome!!!

  • Hey, it found a deck! Any Arena one. My opponents sure agree >: /

  • I think you are all forgetting the main problem: this meta is BORING. Games are supposed to be fun. If you're enjoying this you might want to cut open your arm to reveal if you have wires in them. Robotically stale meta where decks play themselves and you're kidding yourself if you think there's very much diversity.

Just play Arena, author. You owe it to yourself and your sanity. Constructed will be good again one day...

  • Too slow. They kill you too quick for it's affect to matter.

  • It's so much fun having devs that bring to life a lot of new fun cards like the parrots but... Lulz guess what can't play em or anything else have fun competing with this shit.

  • I completely agree with your sentiments although I must admit I only read the first few paragraphs and scanned the rest

The game being played in constructed has boiled down to complete netdecking of very boring decks that really include very little creativity. It wasn't so long ago that you still saw weird fun decks eeking out an existence and at least having some success. I don't see them now.

The last time I had fun in constructed was with a highlander mage deck that popped up the last expansion before the rotation. This deck was very enjoyable because it had a lot of discover and card generation so it really kept me on my toes making different decisions every game. Also it was competitive. Not a tier 1, but I could win. Losing is not fun. Hence the netdecking....

Since then I have netdecked dozens and dozens of decks that I see popular streamers playing or that I find on websites thinking, oh this looks like a shining beacon of fun in the otherwise stale meta. Every time after many attempts to learn and overcome... The same boring decks usually bear down on me barely winning with their ludicrous endgames.

But there's hope, my friend! It's called Arena. Arena is always fresh and every player is handcuffed the same as you are! Even when you lose to a momentous opponent where you basically had no chance winning against you can still hit that concede button knowing that could have easily have been you that got that lucky. And at least it isn't the same thing every time.

I personally keep a candle on the windowsill lit that one day constructed will be fun again but I know it won't be anytime soon. These new cards are promising in the fun factor but the old cards are just so powerful. Maybe after rotation it will be better?

Hold tight and until then enjoy Arena : D

  • This is what is wrong with HS.

They are pushing an archetype that has already been proven to work instead of giving something outlandish like this to the T3 decks that need anything.

It's very strong and a game ender.

  • Surprised to say that I like this card. Granted it's slow af but it really does pay dividends played on curve. It's an awful top deck so that may be the downfall but I think if you can manage to play it on curve it's actually strong. Probably bad, but lovingly bad.

  • There is 0 chance this will never see play it's just a question of whether it will now. I love it because it makes you want to try deathrattle hunter again in wild

  • Take it in Arena bc it plays cleanup for annoying peasants and stones but I don't see this being included in any constructed decks. It's a pretty weak top deck

  • I think it's pretty obviously great and better than acrobatics and will be a staple in DH decks. Cannot decide if it's better than skull, hard call.

  • In Arena it is ok if you have already drafted a couple deathrattles. You just have to remember that stars have to align for getting a lot of value from it.

  • Cucks, yeets? You sound like my 20 yo exroomate Noah. I think this is a strong card that can see play. Potentially overstated while affecting your opponents board. Looks like a must pick in Arena

  • Would love to see a legendary printed that reads, "for the rest of the game when you take 1 damage your opponent takes it instead" to make a hilarious combo with this. It's a poop card but certainly acceptable (and fun) in Arena

  • Only problem is it's a bad top deck. Other than that it's amazing. Play it on 3 and even if they give you the coin it's still a win!

  • My guess is 3 mana 2/2 "gain +2/+2 for every card you traded this turn". Seems the most logical. What's your guess?

  • It'd be fun to think my golden Auctioneer Lady Whateverhernameis could be of use trying to shuffle both copies but unfortunately it's just another case of fun card is too slow.

  • The Hearthstone experience has been such a mess lately it wouldn't surprise me to hear they have all been smoking crack.

We have the release of an unplayable game mode that should've instead gone into fixing Duels which is still mostly unplayable we have a senseless delay of dual classes for Arena and of this mini set.

Even Battlegrounds is losing some momentum with some lackluster patches. Constructed? Still boring in standard, still polarizing in wild.

This mini set is really gonna have to knock it out of the ballpark.

  • But I don't wanna wait that long!!!!
