Playing Arena and listening to Kibler on my browser. it's been well over 2 hours now and no pack. I'm certain I'm linked up- it says my exact name and region in the settings. Is it able to tell that I'm not watching it...?
The problem as I see it is the obvious one: losing just isn't fun, so people gravitate to decks that hedge their bets. The only two games I've played avidly for the last 5 years have been HS and LoL. One is VERY good at keeping things fresh, the other.. is showing signs of getting there. For those that don't know, League of Legends is forever in fluctuation- A champion that is S tier could get dropped to a far lower one in a matter of weeks; and back to S again with some patience.
My sacred wish for HS is to adopt that model and I would be willing to even give up dust refunds to have nerfs and buffs occur on a regular basis. There's a reason pencils usually come with erasers and they ought to be exercised.
One solution to the problem could be adding a number of rotated cards to evergreen sets, the notion being that these cards would be included into more decks and therefor could be safely nerfed should one class become a problem. There wouldn't be a valid grievance because a card would be just as likely to be de-nerfed the next expansion if the class is suffering.
It's radical thinking for sure.. but I for one would love to see the game in never-ending flux where they adjust a cost here and a stat there to try to take the win% down of overachieving decks. The only thing stopping them as I see it is stubbornness or the dust economy.
I scoured pretty much every card in the game and I don't see anything that elegantly fits to every line. Scratched off Void Ripper, Unseal the Vault, and others off the list. Stumped!

So far really enjoying the tone here. Hearthpwn is just obequitous 'jump-down-the-throat on what op posted'. Pick any random thread and the first reply is always one sentence knocking someone down no matter how relevant or not what they had to say was. Yay for being over it

Honestly, it was just snarky humor. Certainly not racist in of itself and acceptable as being hyperbolic. I believe most people wouldn't consider the title, "Nozdormu is racist against mobile players" banworthy. Or maybe Ive just watched too much adult swim idk

You'll find that I'm not a harasser, nor was I there, so I'll try not to come off too brazen since yeah I was an everyday poster on hearthpwn but it's behind me now. xskarma is a lousy moderator in my opinion. Tired of walking on eggshells around there. Thanks for all the welcomes : D
It's rare when one of my homebrews takes off so well. Easy climb to diamond and I'm looking forward to going higher. Not only does this deck overwhelm everything out there but it is an amazingly fun ride- there are several win conditions and you never know which one will seal the deal.
Still needs a little fine-tuning so feel free to give any suggestions, but definitely treat yourself to a couple games of it.

I have been banned on that site around 8 times. You might guess that it would seem that I must be a toxic poster (to be honest when I was new there a couple times I truly was..) but take into consideration my last ban: "trolling" for starting a thread named, "Nozdormu is racist against mobile players" which was a serious post on how Nozzy is oppressive to the playerbase that are playing on phones. The use of racist was just good ol tongue in cheek humor. Well, xskarma slams me again with a ban. To make it worse they have an option to 'appeal' but every time I have and explained myself they never respond even when they were boarish with the ban stick.

Except against aggro a good card on curve! Not so good later into game.
