  • The nerf stick has this guy’s name on it

  • If I remember correctly I once got Khadgar off of Fist of Ra Den and remember it not working for vivid spore death rattle:

  • Omg I can’t believe I missed that..

oh nvm the guess was there when I saw it

  • Honestly, I like the direction the class is going. An aggro disrupter concept is obviously what they had in mind but it may have been too overwhelming at first. The only occurrences were Mana Burn and the Silence stuff.

Now we see that DH can shuffle cards back into your deck which is TERRIFYING. This mechanic takes Illidan from being oh wow another smorcer to a real reason to tremble for fear of your plan. To me that is very enjoyable, I just really hope it was playtested correctly. Glide is going to lead to a lot of broken keyboards.

  • My big deck takes way more skill to navigate than quest mage. It loses normally to both aggro and control. Quest Mage is too safe while having a very cut and clear win condition. There is so much stall, answers, and if you lack em make em. Then collect your Pokémon and go for the zero-counterplay kill.

Big Shaman can actually have a bad draw, can be shut down by the P Screams and saps of the world. QM is either you kill it fast with aggro or you 100% lose. Same for Maly Dru. Unfun noninteractive combo garbage that no one needs unless they are farming wins.

You might hate aggro but at least it’s a fun ride losing to it. No idea why anyone can argue this. Things will be better when they nerf the quest to 10 spells to catch up with the times.

  • That can't be correct because it is auto loss to QM and they are everywhere.

  • Big Sham takes more skill than you would think. Anyway, look at both decks' win rates. Ok I win this argument.

But thanks for the laugh XD

  • It's literally cheating. Yes, you are climbing, but it's not your skill- it's Blizzard's oversight. I'm in disbelief that they really thought making two more spells in order to achieve Time Warp would change a thing. You could make it 12 and it would still be effective, balanced even.

I'm thankful that I'm not the kind of person that jumps on board to mindless, no soul decks just because they work, I really am. To the many Quest Mages out there, I want to tell you that your wins are meaningless. Every satisfaction that you got from victory was no different than a PARTICIPATION TROPHY. You are not achieving anything. You are jumping on ship to something that is broken and will be nerfed again.

It's pathetic if you think your playing ability had anything to do with it. Dwell on it a second and feel lousy about yourselves, please.

  • Holy shit that’s a lot of text.

just got my golden Shammy last night and love it. Easily best one for the totems.

  • Disconnected twice tonight, costly ones. One my opponent seemed to afk and when I finally reset it I came back and no game. Next one was Battlegrounds where it got stuck on Resuming... I've played like 5 games tonight and one opponent was not there probably a disconnect. And before I did on the BG game there was another person blacked out. Anyone else having this issue?

    In reply to Disconnect Problems?
  • Diamond 1 o.O I'm almost there!

Yes, same deck that I listed above. At one point I was certain of taking out an archivist but I haven't yet.

  • Pretty meh but will see its time in the sun sooner or later. It rounds out to be two slow shadow bolts for 4 mana which isn’t so awful really. Would have liked it if the summon had stealth too in case it hits face.

  • Wild Quest Mage is just wrong. Why do ppl play this?

  • I prefer how it was done before. Mostly because I want to see them ASAP

  • I’m guessing there will be both a Rogue/Warrior and a Warrior/Pal weapon because why not

  • Just got D5 : D

Also, 23 wins from my golden portrait

  • Honestly I think you guys are judging the deck without actually trying it for a good ten games. I have literally not ran into one rez priest on ladder. I played quite a bit of it in the past but it was always kind of a guilty pleasure. Big Sham differs because it really takes some skill to navigate. RP was pretty autopilot. BS really takes some actual piloting.

Discolock has given me some problems but Mech Pal and Pirate Warrior are actually easy wins most of the time.

You basically are skipping a few turns for a ridiculous discount into the late game, hopefully midgame. It is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more consistent than these comments have been noting it for. It works! Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

(I think this thread was created because I really really want to have more mirror matches with it, they are very interesting)

LiveWire#11853. Feel free to add me

  • You really don’t need to because the frequency of your threats are often more than enough to get the job done. Trust me, when I first saw BS, I joined on because it looked fun but it carried me to diamond in a few days (admittedly the win rate has slowed down now, but I’m certain I can get 5 and with enough luck Legend by the end of the month.

the main attraction is that it is very fun. It’s a high tier 2 or low tier 1 imo.

  • Say what you like, but the deck has its weaknesses. Mage and Druid mostly. Aggro is a delicious match-up because they really think they can win then, haha, i heal up and now's there a giant minion on board you can't take care of.

  • Hey everyone, I'm a diamond wild player playing exclusively Big Shaman... with a personal twist- Including two copies of Grand Archivist is a seemingly questionable move but so far it has been very powerful.

The reasoning is (and why my spells differ so greatly from other BS's) is that the only bad picks from the deck are casting Ancestral on an opponent's minion or an early Healing Rain. Lightning Storm can be a welcome pirate clear although the overload can be bad. Hagatha's, while ineffective, is still fine because it thins it out of the deck being that it is a bad top deck.

It has only happened once out of maybe 30 games that they have caused me to go into fatigue, but if you are facing a lot of control include only one of them. Big Shaman tends to stomp out far before it happens and a Eureka or Ancestral call being drawn is back-breaking.

It boggles my mind why I rarely run into another Big Shaman on the ladder! This deck is insanely enjoyable. Well worth your dust; the win percent is around 65%.
