The interaction was so ubiquitous that the one of the cards (not the answer) was nerfed.

The target card is a neutral, the card that initiates the interaction a class card, and the result (the answer) is from a different class. How does that even happen?

And the first line is the target card, which is important.

Wrong interaction and card. The last line is a word play on the resultant card name (i.e. the answer), which isn't one of the cards in the card interaction.

No. The first two lines refer to a card interaction you might have seen on ladder a time or two (or a hundred).

Good idea, as was [card]Defile[/card], but no. It is a board clear, but the rest of the riddle is about pop culture references and a small pun. Nothing about how the board clear operates.

I could have used a more recent pop culture reference, but I didn't and it's what I've got to face.
