yeah, but if your deck is especially struggling against one specific list that is especially prevalent then you run the tech card and immediately are better against that list. theres so many ppl out there running ashen elemental and posting legend results, its extremely effective since in most cases where your opponent doesnt get lucky and go off stupid early you'll be able to draw the game out to ice block and win off ashen.

i think something should be done about big priest being able to drop a neptulon on 3 is a bit much, but other than that i completely agree. wild right now is arguably the fairest its ever been with a variety of aggro and tempo options, plus most of the "unfair" decks like pillager rogue and quest mage have a high skill floor and ceiling to be able to pull off the combos optimally, and theres plenty of options for counterplay if you're facing a lot of one certain list (ashen elemental blows out ice block and hand disruption shits on pillager).

you can complain about miracle rogue and deathrattle rogue being overtuned. i dont necessarily agree in miracle rogue's case, but whatever, i get where people are coming from. but miracle priest? theres was zero reason for that deck to be fucked with. blizzard even said it in their announcement that the deck was only especially effective at high legend (where the best miracle players would be logically).

the decision to print denathrius and theotar in the same standard is one of the worst blizzard has ever made in regards to hearthstone. one of the strongest late-game cards ever printed paired with the most broken hand disruption in the game with literally ZERO counterplay whatsoever. it is unbelievable how many games in legend boil down to who can theotar the best card from their opponent's hand or manage to keep the best card from being theotar'd. theotar should've never been printed; id feel infinitely more satisfied losing to denathrius every game than i would having every match be a non-game decided by what 3 random cards theotar picks. it doesnt even feel good to get a free win with theotar, it just makes me feel like an asshole. nerf did absolutely nothing btw
genuinely love the two diversions just to talk about puns. please continue to add some humor when you can, it sets outof.cards apart from staler sites (aka all of the other ones)
regarding the non-pun related discussion, relic dh might have lost steam due to Breast hunter being so broken but that deck definitely has the potential to be top tier. i cant count the number of times i had a relic dh do some incomprehensibly powerful shit against me immediately after the mini set dropped. they struggle against the big beast walls but if/when that deck gets nerfed i expect to relic dh performing at or near the top
sooo satisfying to see a complex write-up on shadow priest. its a deck that usually gets written off as being brainless (largely due to the pirate variants IMO) that deserves more appreciation.
