I do think there have been more events, but shorter duration and less gold as rewards. Free (but not disenchantable) legendaries given to everyone are of course nice, and freshen the meta (important and a good idea), but won't help you save for an upcoming expac.
Good to see it looked at objectively in this video. Blizzard need to effectively monetize the game of course, whilst keeping it accessible without a huge outlay (especially for potential new players). Tricky balance to get right I should think.
Just watched this video (I have nothing to do with it or the channel) in which they examined how many packs are needed for full collection, bundle pricing now and previous, and just how generous Blizzard have been over the years.
Pretty interesting (though the first 4 mins are very skippable).
I am writing to you today in order to prevail on your kindness during the upcoming Saviours of Uldum expansion release.
I would be very grateful if you could ensure that I open Zephrys the Great, a higher than typical proportion of legendary quality cards, whilst avoiding both Colossus of the Moon and Octosari.
Any other opportunities for an advantageous card distribution synergyzing with my card collection would also be much appreciated.
Additionally if you could extend a similar courtesy to my fellow Out of Cards site members I expect it would be well received by the majority (though I am sure others will have different legendary card preferences).
Many thanks in advance for your kind benevolence in this matter, and rest assured you will enjoy my continuing gratitude.
Yes this site had a lot less bloat and overhead from a technical perspective. Of course there was a limited amount that could be done to Hpwn to make it more efficient by Flux.
Nice that OOC is developed by people who know what they're doing and have full control of the platform, backend, technologies used.
If you want to check just look at a front page load of this site versus the other site in a web developer or network sniffer tool that shows whats being loaded, how big and how long it takes. There's a bit of a difference (understatement).
I think Sea Giant would be a good replacement for one of the buffs.
Yes I like those videos too.

At least it made someone laugh :P
Ah fair enough :) (not a fan of big priest myself either)
It won't identify nature of opponents deck. Just board state, health, number of cards etc. I wonder if it will consider fatigue.

There also seemed to be a suggestion that the card must be in your collection.
Buff to overload Even overload shaman in wild.
My game on NA was loooong. Hopefully will be better on EU and Asia if I bring a better deck.
Yes I agree. Junk card totally unplayable.
.... if you are playing poker where it wouldn't be valid. In Hearthstone it's bloody great!
They need to let streamers stream during times they are not playing in GM.
Yeeeaaah, this dude makes reveal videos that are gonna be hard to top without a huge budget + major studio to beat. Better and better each time.
Do yourself a favor and watch it :)
Good Luck all :)
Powerful but expensive
I don't wanna see this show up from my OPs conjurer's !
Smells like a secret achievement :P
Wow cool deck :)
One of my favs.
