Sounds like the changes won't go into effect until the 15th which is next week.
And I'd bet dollars to donuts they'll have another bundle with a character portrait up too, they usually have those around this time of year (lookin at you Hazel bark)

The Lunar New Year, the Midsummer Fire festival, Hallow's End and the upcoming Winter's Veil are probably the events they're referring to, allowing them to add seasonal achievements hopefully for additional experience like their press statement says.
They may add additional experience achievements during the mid expansions, too. Notice how the Dark Moon Faire Achievements have space for one more achievement to unlock?
Anyway that's what I'm getting out of their statement.

If my math is right, I'd have to buy the battle pass to earn around 7K gold in the time span that it took to earn 82K...
but i'd also have to get both bundles for a chance to get the epics and the legendaries needed to accomplish the achievements needed for the experience to get the gold...

I'm only sad Shardshatter Mystic is getting nerfed cuz I liked playing her and Magtheridon on turn 7 for a full board clear.

Hoping the patch also fixes some bugs that're in the game, too.

I want Gallywix as a Rogue hero, and I want him to have dialogue for the alt coins.
that way earning them gives you something fun for your character to say

I'm trying to quit this game, and threads like this and the ones on reddit are convincing me to drop this game.
I'm still hopeful ActivisionBlizzard will do something to address these issues, but it doesn't look like it ...
