You describe char by char my thoughts with Tavern Brawl in particular and Hearthstone in general.
Playing it makes some sense when your classic collection miss some cards that you don't want to craft but right now was playing taverns every week until you got the few missing legendaries you still have from classic.
If you play with Aphelios you have to reroll like if today was last day on earth to get Can't Stop; Won't Stop. Stacking buffs from Moon Weapons like Severum and Infernum is like playing in extra casual mode.
I love icy lands, mountains, cold weather and the "northern" lifestyle. Also, since I play Warcraft and Might and Magic and read some related fantasy stuff one of my favourite tribes are Trolls (besides Orcs, Taurens, Dwarves and nordish based ones).
With Freljord I got all this in the same place so not falling in love with this region was totally impossible for me :D
Mmmm can be an explanation, yes. Maybe the best solution to clarify it would be something like "...stealth until your next turn and +1 attack permanently" then.
For Hiding Place I don't see why they have +1 attack and stealth until your next turn. In which way it can help you having one more attack if your opponent can't attack them? Could be better if they have +1 health, this way you opponent can't deal with them with his planned aoe. No? For me it also has more sense due to the flavour of the card putting your miniones "in a safe place".
Yes sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm playing more often LoR since January so right now my experience with card games is Hearthstone where usually you pay for more deck related content instead cosmetics when a new expansion launches. I thought it was a mini event you paid for having more card archetypes and not too much oriented on cosmetics. Having at least one copy of each new champion, a "wildcard" for a deck on the store, more chests... Something like this.
In fact right now with Tavern Pass you also have peaks where you are granted with free packs and currency and, of course, some extra yummy content that add an extra value if you buy it.
Not too much long, didn't read; I expected a Event Pass with more content instead cosmetics but this is an opinion I made based on my lack of experience with this new videogames meta called "Pay Pass".
You should consider making an app with this widget. I'm not being a false flatterer, I totally love it and having this on my mobile when I can't connect to internet or just look for something easy to play without focus at 100% is lovely. At least grouping all site wordsearchs in a same link for that purpose could be nice.
The best evidence to know that I should keep playing LoR in order to being better is noticing that I don't know which is the whole power of this Champion and why is he so OP.
I'm fully focused on Feljorn because is the faction that I understand most but despite being a game 1yo since leaving beta the amount of differents mechanics and cards is so huge.
Can somebody that played this "Slay Spire" which is the main difference between this and other pve modes like Rastakhan or Witchwood? I don't get the point yet :(
I'll feel more comfortable if it said "When summoned" but anyway seems a pretty strong Poro card and in a Poro based deck it can also be meta-defining. I'm excited with this one and for the versatility that it can provide.
I could be wrong if the levels are important enough for a deck....but this seems crazy weak and it seems like it would just be better to focus on leveling the characters through whatever means they require rather than play a 7 mana card that basically skips that turn.
I think it depends entirely on the strength the Ascended. E.g., paying 7 mana to instant-level something with say comparable to L2 Aurelion Sol, Maokai, or Zoe would arguably be worth the 7 mana alone, and then you make serious progress towards your Restored Sun Disc and enable things like Devoted Council too. On the other hand, if the Ascended are more like Riven or Zed in power level, then those added benefits from won't be enough to justify the cost of 7 mana.
Totally, I don't know why they planned revealing it first instead letting us know what a Ascended is but right now seems a little bit weak.
I have the feeling that they will blow us our mind later when a Ascended is revealed but for the moment I don't see any point for feeling that this is a strong card.
