MTG:A is really the first true competitor to HS. I don't see it going the way of Artifact. As such, I imagine HS will continue to evolve and tweak it's new player/F2P experience to compete.

You can see that it already has in a lot of ways. We get far more free packs than we did 3-4 years ago. There are a number of free legendaries that are given away each cycle. They're introducing more cosmetics than they've had in years in order to give people who want to spend money something to spend their money on. etc.

All emoting is BM unless it's "Oops" after forgetting to click end turn and roping.

For my part, I tried to watch it once and could not tell what was happening at all. It was not a viewer friendly CCG, and if you aren't attracting viewers, you aren't attracting customers.

I know magic carpet sounds nice but will it matter actually? Only 1 drop you have is Pogo and there's no way adding another 1 drop without ruining Piper. Also you probably don't make big enough pogos to fight the aggro early on. If you want it as a late game tool it's gonna be a dead card in your hand until you have a chance to make medium-big pogos and it doesn't help with your game plan. Card draw seems more relavant. So I'd cut both of it for more draw. Novice engineer would work well also with the shark. Other than that I like the deck :)

    Lackeys are 1 drops.

I think Paladin will have a niche that it didn't have before because Hunter was simply better at it. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the better mech deck because it's less "all in" on a single game plan and has better card draw.

Priest seems like it is legitimately competitive now. Cleric+Extra Arms will carry games that you shouldn't otherwise win. Not unlike Mountain Giant + Conjurer's.

Lucentbark gets slightly better, but it's still Lucentbark and has all the same problems it has had since its release.

Everything else seems like it will be about the same - the exception being that Warrior may actually suffer if Priest and Paladin are better than they are now.

Barista, 2 scheme, 2 recruiter seems like overkill.
