I completely agree with this sentiment, and I, for one, am disappointed about it. I was finding more and more often when I play highlander decks that DQA felt slower than the meta (both standard and wild) and more often than not didn't gift a solution I needed when I was behind, even when played on curve. I hope she isn't completely unplayable - it's a really fun card, and I love the highlander archetype.
Question about Uther OTK decks: Is Auctionmaster Beardo the superior method for pulling off the combo (versus Garrison Commander + using some minion bounce over multiple turns)?
I don't have Auctionmaster Beardo, so I have only done the latter version, which feels slow at the end when you're maybe one turn from winning or losing either way. I realize that with the Beardo version you need to do some setup with the Emperor Thaurissan cost reduction turn.
I can relate to so much of this! When I first started playing the game I didn’t know what net decking was, and I avoided the ladder. I missed many months of card backs because I only played casual thanks to ladder anxiety. I only have two golden heroes (hunter and warlock) which belies how long I have been a daily player.
Now I don’t worry about rank or falling on the ladder, and I want to work towards 500 wins on all the other classes. The grind is brutal!
I also really want to get the 1000 win Gul’dan. I think it’s my favorite art in the game.
I'm through the first three bosses with Pure Paladin. I used ALL the heals on Magtheridon as I stabilized the board. Having good curve outs on all three has really helped, I am sure.
General custom cards question: where do people get the art they use for their cards in custom card design? Are they just art files off the web or are people creating their own? I assume no.
This was the toughest boss in the whole adventure for me. Took two restarts, but then I was able to stick the beast (Gahz'rilla) who doubles attack every time it takes damage, and I was able to one-shot her.
Question: where do people get their card art for custom card competitions and custom updates to the Classic/basic set? Just interested in learning more.
I got this as my free legendary when I reached legend for the first (and likely only) time during April 2020. I love how many archetypes and cool combo decks it opens up for me!
Your great guide (thanks!) may have just convinced me to craft a single Replicat-o-tron. I am always looking out for viable/fun paladin decks, so thanks again.
I remember getting help from some guild mates to obtain a paladin mount in here in WoW - they all hated to do it!
+1 for the first paragraph of your post. Made me laugh, welcome back!
I'm excited for some new cards and the hype season!

I'm really bummed about the nerf to Dragonqueen Alex. I'm really glad to not be seeing Warglaives as much in wild though!

Thanks for any input in advance!

That'll teach them!
Thanks for responding - I appreciate the insight.

Hilarious video!
(Paraphrasing) “Obviously Silverback Patriarch is the best/only choice!” I love how the first game went so wrong, but you still got the win.

Is it Ethereal Arcanist?
This was a one-and-done for me. Turns were slow, but luckily I found a North Sea Kraken on curve which got me some tempo.

This is one of my favorite cards of all time. Won a lot of wild matches with even shaman in wild, and I loved even paladin pre-Call to Arms nerf.
Hilarious! I wonder if they'll ever un-nerf Patches? I hope so.
