I get the feeling Blizzard is fucking up with Demon Hunter. I get that they'd prefer the class is OP first and balanced later, instead of being to weak at the start, but it's just a very un-fun class to play against. Too few cards in the pool with a power level that is too high.
Part of my frustration is because whenever I give the class a go, I get destroyed. Not entirely my own fault, because my last 4 games I ended up with the entirety of my top end in hand before turn 6. But regardless of my own failures, the class just has too much going for it: early game, tempo plays, massive card draw and even efficient board clears and spot removal. IT'S.JUST.TOO.MUCH!
Quote From YourPrivateNightmareSo I just cracked the Legend Barrier for the first time. Usually I don't bother because I don't wanna spend the effort only to get a bad losing streak and get stuck between ranks forever.....but apparently Embiggen Druid is so OP right now that I could just roll through most of my games.

I just did the same. I did see a lot of mirror matches on rank 1 though. Funnily enough, whenever I faced a Legend player, they ran Quest Druid. Apparently at Legend people get bored with Embiggen Druid.
By the way: in these mirror matches, Dragonmaw Poacher is OP.
Holy shit, I am triggered as hell right now. Salty AF.
I've been playing Token Druid to rank 3, 5 stars. I kept losing to Galakrond Rogue however, so I decided to give that deck a try. Long story short: I am now rank 4, 3 stars.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm losing against Token Druid, Galakrond Warrior, Highlander Galakrond Rogue, Quest Hunter and even all the mirror matches. I've won only ONE game in the last 8 and that was against some weird Overload Shaman build.
Best moment of the day was Galakrond drawing 4 0-mana cards, of which THREE!!!! were 0-mana to begin with. My god.
So, I was thinking either Whizbang the Wonderful, or Zayle, Shadow Cloak. Both are very rarely heard, as they are replaced by a deck.
I still don't know how this references Angry Chicken though.

FFS man! At 5 mana, the board is empty except for a Necrium Apothecary on the opponents side. I play Nightmare Amalgam + Zephrys (to get to 0 mana, because I want a Silence), but all I get offered is a Houndmaster, Highmane and a Harrison Jones. WTF Blizzard, I need a silence.
Just to complain about something else for a change: why can't I jump to the last page in a thread in one click? I can only click the ... to load the next 5 pages, but there's not 'jump to end' button. There should be.
Back on topic: wtf is up with Arena at the moment? I'm not the greatest player, but I do mostly get to 5 or 6 wins. These last few runs I thought I had pretty decent decks, only to get completely destroyed by OP decks. Has the powerlevel spiked or something?I played a Shaman whose first FOUR cards were active Dragon synergy cards. Cards 5 and 6 were a Dragon and another Dragon synergy card respectively.
I mean come on guys, that's not a fun experience.
Well, since my last 5 games included 4 Highlander Hunters and one Highlander Paladin, a Bomb Hunter might be a decent fit for the meta.

For some reason (might be the company firewall as I'm at the office) I can log on to https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/, but when I go over to the forums on https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/ my login isn't carried over and I can no longer log in. Doing that results in an connection reset error page.
So I can't even report bugs directly to the developers. But there are many, many bugs in the app right now. Most severe issue I ran into was that I played Nourish (with the completed Druid quest) at 10 mana. Instead of drawing 3 cards and ending up at 6 available mana (10-6+2), I drew 3 cards and ended up at 4 mana. Luckily I was playing on Casual mode (for a daily quest) so the impact was low, but it really threw my game plan as it led to me overdrawing.
For me the game crashes each time I click on Squelch. I'm playing on iOS.
On logging in (through iOS) I noticed several decks with less than 30 cards in them. For most of them, this was caused by having a Golden and Non-Golden version of a card in the same deck. My Quest Druid for instance, has a normal Crystal Merchant and a golden one. The game failed to recognize the golden version and reported (funnily enough) 28/30 cards from the list of decks and 29/30 from the deck itself.
My Highlander Hunter deck only had about 7 cards left in it and even after completing it again, the game refused to start because the deck was supposedly invalid for the game mode (regular Standard ranked play). My decklist was the same as before the patch, so I don't know why this happens.

Quote From DoubleSummonDo yourself a favor and don't craft golden cards it's the most pointless feature of the game I would rather play 2 different legendaries than one that has a little animation. As well as try to avoid crafting any legendaries on day one, except very safe ones like Siamat(there's no way this card isn't good) or shaman quest which looks solid enough.

I'm going to bookmark this comment, in case Siamat turns out to be rubbish.

In contrast to most players here, I finished with Togwaggle and not with Dr. Boom.
Turns out that going Bag of Coins, The Coin, The Coin, The Coin, The Muscle, Explorer's Hat, The Coin, The Coin, The Coin, The Coin, Counterfeit Coin, Edwin VanCleef, Molten Reflection .... is quite a good turn one play.
Stealing stuff has never been more fun. It was a bit RNG though, cause I almost died on boss 7/8 due to bad draws at first. I kept drawing expensive stuff and discarding my cheap, good stuff.
