I am currently at level 34. I had some bad luck with the dailies recently and so I didn't play much to not accidentally complete them because I wanted to reroll.
On a slightly different note, I tracked my progression per game to verify the 400XP/h that Blizzard stated. That seems to be roughly true, actually I'm even a little above that (490xp an hour on average, with 15% bonus from the tavern pass, 460 would be 400 + 15%).
Another observation I made was that wins consistently give more xp than losses. Granted, my sample size is still small. It is quite tedious to note game times and xp gained, subtract quest and achievement xp and such, but I see a clear trend. With the 15% bonus I consistently get about 9xp/min (or 540xp/h) for every win (n=8), for a loss it is only about 6xp/min (360xp/h, n=5).
I would be curious if anybody else has made similar observations, in my perception the official statement was that there should be no difference between win or loss as far as xp is concerned (supposedly leading to an increase in bots and roping).
I agree with almost everything said here, I'd just like to add that sometimes combinations of lackeys can be useful, such as kobold and goblin to get 2+2 damage from an empty board, faceless plus witchy can help mitigate a bad roll such as doomsayer. And of course lackeys are great combo activators in general, not just for edwin..
Flik is awesome, for all the reasons named above. Worst case it is Assassinate on a 4/4 stick, but with Shadowstep it becomes a real annoyance. It can target "Can't be targeted" minions, which is great against Embiggen Druids or Scion of Ruin.
), and I'm having a ton of fun with it. Really can screw up the opponent's game plan. A bunch of 0mana Fliks through Galakrond or Togwaggle can drain resources fast (if you get to that point).
I used to go by "suicidor", back in my Counter Strike days, because I always was the one who would sprint ahead, and once I died my team would know where the enemies were. Now I find that nickname a little too "on the nose", so I had to come up with something else.
Teuton now is my go-to name for any social networks. It has a slightly germanic ring to it, so it throws some people off when I go trolling the trolls on some right wing forums. Also it has a little rebel vibe to it, from the historic Teutons fighting the Romans back in the day.
He said he only plays standar (sic), and that he was only buying wild packs for the dust of the legendary within the first ten packs.
I agree that buying one pack at a time is definitely the way to go IF he decides to follow through with his plan, but I think he would his standard collection more by buying packs of the last three expansions, because he avoids the loss of value due to the card to dust to card conversion and will end up with more cards he can actually use in standard.
I would advise against it. If you only play standard you're probably better off buying packs of the latest standard set. The reasoning is that the conversion from dust to card is always worse than opening the desired card directly. There are seven sets in wild at the moment, even assuming that it doesn't take ten packs for each set to get the "first ten" legendary, on average you'd spend probably 3500 gold to get the 2800 dust, plus whatever change you get from the remaining cards. I haven't done the math or calculated the probabilities for the rarities, but I would be surprised if you'd come out much better than a 1:1 gold to dust ratio. So for your 3.5k gold you'd barely get more than two new cards to play with.
Especially with Descend of Dragons coming out today, I think it is much better to buy those packs, you'll get more cards to keep in your collection and play with, and fewer cards you need to craft, plus some dust.
For standard it clearly seems like a set up for a future expansion, when they might add more pirate synergy. In wild it might help pirate warrior to pull the class out of the bottom tier. We'll see. Maybe I should re-craft patches?
It's assassinate on a stick with a situational upside. I think it will really depend on the meta. If there are a lot of applications or if the meta is slow and value oriented enough to make single target removal valuable it is probably going to be played. If the meta is very aggro I see less potential, I guess it depends on the rest of the set.
Seems safe to say though that treant druid might just have gotten its way to tier 0 blocked.
I switch back and forth. I have a lot of hero portraits, only missing the paid ones as well as Nemsy and Liadrin. I usually decide which hero fits the decktype best, Tyrande for wall priest, 1k Anduin for combo, 1k Malfurion for token, Elise for quest, things like that.
I am definitely experiencing some issues, freezes, weird graphics artefacts (usually accompanied by freezes) and the occasional disconnect. There have been artefacts like placeholder boxes for while for me, but it seems to have gotten worse in the last update. Killing the app and restarting usually resolves the issues, temporarily at least.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't see a "Hearthstone bugs" thread to post this in.
My problem is this: I was playing a game this morning, on the NA server, when suddenly a disconnect happened, the screen turned black, then the "Reconnecting to your game" message popped up. And then - nothing happened.
After a minute or so I restarted the client on my phone, to be greeted with the same message when the loading screen disappeared, again, black background. I switched to a different network and restarted, still the same. I restarted my phone, to no avail.
I waited until the phone screen turned off, then woke it to find an "unable to connect to your game message" with an unclickable "ok", restarted again to again see the "Reconnecting" message. It's been like that for over an hour now.
I tried to post in the Blizzard support forum, but don't have my authenticator on me (still on an old device, never migrated it), so I couldn't log in.
I'm pretty happy overall, especially after my abysmal RoS experience. Out of 174 packs I got 11 legendaries (2 gold), plus the freebie and two preorder legendaries, 40 epics (6 doubles, 2 golden (which happened to be doubles, so 800 dust), all but one rare and all commons. Plus some 6000 dust all told.
Nine legendaries would have been average (more or less), so I'm ahead of the curve which is nice.
If it works like that, that all three cards get the bonus, then Omega Assembly is getting even stronger. And with the new Stonehill Defender and Elysianna it might actually be sort of busted in Warrior.
Sorry, I must have missed that, but Why can you not use Auchenai? Even if the damage on minions is cancelled out, the three damage buff should still apply. And it could serve as a 3 dmg ping face.
I guess in that exact scenario King Phaoris would be pretty amazing. But how consistently can you get there? You need a bunch of 1mana secrets, so that prismatic lense reliably hits one, and you need few other minions so that prismatic lense reliably hits the King. And then you get a 5/5 and a 10 drop plus some 1 mana minions for 5 mana, but is that enough to swing a game? I personally doubt it, but I would not mind to be proven wrong.

Hi everyone!
I recently came up with an idea for a Rogue deck that revolves around getting 0-mana copies of kronx and then decimating my enemies.
It works pretty well all in all, but it is kind of streaky, sometimes the key cards are just burried in the bottom.
I was hoping that maybe some of you have some suggestions how to make it a little more consistent.
Thanks!

I play it in my (mediocre) Copy Rogue (

I f***ing hate Leeroy. Played about ten games, lost six of them, all to Leeroy, and all before turn 8. That is all.
I am having fun with my
It is mediocre, probably wins around 50%, but it's a little tempo, a little combo, a little value just like I like it, and I didn't net deck :)
Like so many said, a fine nerf, but unexpected. I don't remember 1hp making a difference while being slaughtered by Galakrond, but ok.
