That's your problem, I've been running Totemic Might the whole time. It's the same as Murloc Shaman using Coldlight Seer before swinging to face. They see three health and don''t panic, then you use Totemic Might and the Emotes ensue. Always wait to use it right before you swing. False security is how I win most matches against mages since secrets are mind games anyway.
I haven't run into to too much trouble with secret mages but most of them on the ladder are either new or rusty and make it to obvious when to play Eater of Secrets and when I can still swing. The secret mage trend isn't going away anytime soon for sure but they aren't hard to deal with.
Now, control shaman/warrior? Not a chance, no dice. Can't touch them after turn 5.
Id like to add that with Splitting Axe this deck is out of control, fill the board with buffed up totems on turn 4, your opponent cant keep them down and has to waste removal on TOTEMS. Before you even play minions out.
HSReplay says there are ~750,000 games played as control warrior (as reported by HDT) just in the last 7 days. 10% of all games played. Nothing else comes close. Second place is Quest Shaman at 500k. Everything else is incrementally smaller.
No Armagedillo though? Nothing quite like a handbuffed Zilliax to force a concede.
Nice, I knew someone would do this eventually. I didn't have the dust to waste on my meme-decking habit this expansion. Previously restricted to Wild, Mecha'thun rogue goes Standard. Great job. Update if you can manage a 55% winrate over 40-50 games? I'd be willing to craft Anka for that.
This was one of the Theorycrafted concepts I anticipated most with the expansion and having lost to it once and beaten it twice on the ladder, I have to say I'm surprised by it's effectiveness at rank 5 and up. This is a solid deck list though I swapped a few cards to tech against Quest/Secret Mage because they are overabundant and annoying.
I have no Emperor Thaurissan, but managed to pull of the OctoMill with 2x Helpless Hatchling and Power Overwhelming instead. Milled the Big out of a Big priest. My deck was also control but not a Reno deck. Good to see someone else using this rather unfortunate card.
No Doomhammer? More than a source of overload, it allows you keep your board alive and gives you the potential for big finishing lethal with Rockbiter Weapon
Thanks, I've been looking for an answer for this for an hour or so, much appreciated. Specifically the warlock quests have awesome wild overlap but if you have to do them separately, not so much.
Hey just wanted to thank you for the deck that solved my big priest problem. They have to really high roll to beat this deck. I swapped Loatheb and 2x Haunted Creeper for Rebuke and 2x Hench Clan Hogsteed. Back to Rank 5 from 10 with a record of 30-18. THIS DECK WORKS.
This deck looks like mad fun, I'm missing 2x clockwork, 2x Frost giant, 1x Shirvallah, 2x duel but the idea of using Naga Sea Witch for the first time ever is really tempting and I'm pretty sure there are some replacements as mana cheating is a hobby of mine. Thanks for this Idea, probably the most unique paladin deck I've seen so far. I haven't seen half of the listed minions played in more than 3 games and they're all here in one deck. Very Cool!
I was one of the many led astray by the mess that is Innkeeper. Half adware, half marketing, all garbage. HDT is superior in all ways and hopefully continues to improve.
If you just re-downloaded it, I recommend looking into the plugins and extensions!
I'm interested to see if it has an application in wild. When you play discard warlock, its pretty easy to cycle your deck with Malchezaar's Imp and Cataclysm to the point where you will accidentally burn through 8 or more cards in a turn. Without Soulwarden you end up with too few cards to finish your opponent.
In standard I usually use an Augmented Elekk before Plot Twist to duplicate the hand while refreshing it. It's complicated but defeats fatigue decks easy. It's basically Dead Man's Hand but for lock. I think this quest might prove to be a little easy and have some surprising synergies with out current warlock cards.
What a handy lackey! I'm feeling much more confident about lackey rogue with the ability to throw a taunt on the line. Won me my game actually, which does feel kind of bad.
I don't think anyone's ever going to support playing big priest. If you have the cards do it, do whatever your heart desires man. No one should stop you from doing what you think is right or what you think is fun.
I mean, I will hate you on a personal level every time I play against you, and you will probably hate me every time I draw well with Kingsbane. That's Hearthstone man.
I also do not understand the hate for renounce darkness especially considering how it can play in the modern day meta. It will be very fun.

The other option is nothing. Which we have currently.

Does anyone know if you can stack the old quests with the new ones? Or do they have to be achieved separately? Can you even have two in the same deck?

This is..... FANTASTIC!!!! SO LONG HEARTHPWN YOU NEVER COULD HAVE BEEN THIS GOOD!
I'd like to take a moment and thank our glorious leader Fluxflashor for the effort down on this awesome new site. Keep up the great work!

At least I'm not crazy, thanks.
Titanic Lackey. Sweet? I didn't think these were available from the pool of minions?
