I don't really focus on how often I see XYZ decks from my opponents.  I hang around rank 20-15 so I see a good bit of variety and a lot of top tier decks handled very VERY badly.  in the end I see them the same way I see AI opponents.  If I play Mario, I expect to see Bowser, so I'm mostly replaying to find new ways to beat him.  Same here: Bomb warrior showing 50 times in a row is just 50 times I get to try and master different strategies: see if Muck beats it, see if Tess Rogue does it, see if I can get a Reno deck to work on it.  My joy isn't in what they do, but what I do to them.

Going to have to try this out to assist with the testing! We will make Unseal the Vault playable!

Why Vereesa Windrunner? I don't think you have enough spells to justify her. Probably would be better off with Siamat for a 2nd target for Sandbinder

Played WoW, don't have time for it anymore and don't like the direction the game has gone. Will be Horde for life though. FOR TEH HORDE!

Rank 8, played 6 warriors in a row, all playing the same bull shit control deck. I’m calling it now, warrior gets the nerf hammer, and hopefully soon.

I watched over 10 hours last time and only got 1 RoS pack. Hopefully i don’t get robbed of a pack again for running this in a tab all day while I’m working!

I have yet to lose a match vs quest druid playing a variety of decks, so I don't know why people are claiming it to be "Tier S". 

Shaman quest needs some time to find the right deck, but very fun in a Wild Reno Shudderwock deck.

Rogue seems powerful, but I think they have better decks available

Paladin I haven't had any issues with, but the only matches I've played against it was with an Overload Token Shaman deck running Thunderhead which works wonders against the onslaught of Reborn minions.

Priest is a fun quest, haven't played against it, but played a bit of it since it was one of my free golden cards. Mixed results with it. Will find it's place in a solid deck at some point.

Warrior I haven't played against or played. I have the card, but I hate warrior

Hunter I haven't played against or played. I crafted the card just because Hunter is my class (has been because of WoW) but I honestly wasn't very excited about this quest, and have been playing more with Highlander decks in standard and wild. I think this quest will find it's place at some point. 

Mage is for the casino. Completely wrecked the only person I ran into running it before they even completed the quest. 

Warlock I have no experience with. Seems too difficult to pull off and only worth it with Rafaam. Meme deck to the max. 

This expansion feels like it was more catered to Wild. I'm having a hell of a lot more fun playing wild than standard atm. 

Prismatic Lens into Tip the Scales is broken af

Prismatic Lens makes this card completely bonkers. The deck is heavily dependent on drawing Prismatic, but when you do, most decks don't have an answer.

The same applies to Mech Hunter or Bomb Hunter, whatever you want to call it. These two decks, control warrior and bomb hunter, will be back in full force pretty soon. I got tired of losing games and just queued up my bomb hunter deck and proceeded to bash various quest decks smacking them all in the face. THIS. This meta is not changing at all. Nerf needs to happen to these 2 decks or we are going to have the same meta for the next 4 months. 

Had a crazy arena match! I'm playing Priest with a 1-2 deck. Not the best draft ever. Playing against a Paladin who had a great draft... I'm staring down at a full board with things like Sea Giant and some huge taunts on it, sitting at 5 HP. I think to myself... "if I don't draw Mass Hysteria, it gg." The RNG gods smiled upon me, and there pops up Mass Hysteria! Now I just needs some more good RNG... and the RNG gods smile upon me again, clearing his entire board except for 1 minion, which I promptly Void Ripper into a 2 attack minion. 

I'm barely alive, but have a chance! He throws out a Sunwalker and hero powers to set up lethal. Alas, it appears I only stalled my imminent demise. One card can save me, my single copy of Mind Control hiding somewhere in my deck. My turn begins, and out pops none other than Mind Control. I promptly steal his Sunwalker.

From there I stabilized and he eventually conceded. Praise be to Yogg!

I honestly swear that's not me being trolly or hyperbolic.  In almost every expansion since at least TGT the community had found some major deck to rage over, whether it was Secret paladin, C'thun decks, Jade Druid, Cubelock, Shudderwock, or so on.  Even in expansions we loved there would be SOMETHING to rage over.  

So yeah, seeing this thread I was seriously looking for That Deck.  And by the above.. it sounds like a pretty awesome run so far.  That sounds great.

Myself I never get into the meta at this point. I'm in spam-arena mode, so I just have to watch how everyone is taking to the meta.  

 

As far as the old deck users.. hoarding gold doesn't really help a F2Per in MAKING decks.  It gets you the core commons and rares and a few legnedaries to start aiming yourself towards. But you have to craft the final key cards to make any deck. And only the insane (or new who will learn the issues shortly) F2Per will be crafting a single bit of ANYTHING at this time.  Instead you'll either be in Arena, playing Wonderful decks or playing your old stuff, especially if they still can get you somewhere.  

Once things stabilize, we'll sort over the riff raff and join in.

 

 

 

Yeah I haven't run into "that deck" yet. Every deck seems beatable so far. Few days of refinement will be needed. But so much better than previous expansions where 1 deck is dominating everything (I'm looking at you Bomb Warrior and Token Druid from Ro)

I've played 5 matches at rank 9 against the same stupid Mech Hunter deck we've been facing for the past 3 months. How can people not want to try out the new cards but instead play the same shit they've been playing all year?

Seriously, to all the people playing the same fucking Bomb Hunter deck that everyone and their mom has been playing for the past 3 months... FUCK YOU! I am so sick of playing against that bull shit

All T1 decks from last xpac, and bull shit that streamers theorycrafted in the prerelease shit. Blizz has really ruined the first day of expansion. This is not fun at all. Playing against all the same fucking decks all because streamers showcased them first. Fuck you Blizz. Stop doing these pre-release theorycrafting sessions, you're ruining the game.

Got Corrupt the Waters and Octosari from 30 packs, but I got like 10-15 terrible packs [4 commons and 1 rare]. Very happy about the Shaman quest that I got. I got Activate the Obelisk as a free quest, which was okay too.

 

That's an above average opening. Why does that make it your worst experience ever
