Wow!! Thanks for the spotlight! This really made my day! I have to give credit where it's due, so make sure to check out RavenSun's deck that inspired me.

At rank 4 it's mostly Burn Mage or Reno Mage. Mage is the #1 class I see.
Lots of Reno Locks. Zephrys the Great has really brought Reno decks back in full swing. Pre-SoU, Reno decks weren't very viable anymore.
Hunter I'm seeing a lot of different variants of Reno, surprisingly haven't ran against a single Mech Hunter
Priest mostly Big Priest still, but the numbers have dropped. (no complaints) See a few people experimenting with the new quest.
Odd Taunt warrior is back and feels more powerful.
Shaman I have been playing the most since I'm trying to make the final push for my golden hero. Even Totem Shaman is powerful, but get wrecked by Burn Mage. Quest Jade decks I think are in a refinement phase, but have potential. I've been running a Quest Elemental Tempo deck (see signature) that feels amazing, but I need more testing with it still to determine if it is ladder viable. It seems Everyfin Shaman may still be the best ladder deck for Shaman. The couple new murlocs work great in the deck.
Rogue still mostly just Odd Rogue, but not very many that I've seen
Odd Paladin is still there, but not as many as before (which is a breath of fresh air!)
Druid has mostly been Jade or Token. I've ran into a couple of Quest Druids, but I usually beat them before I see what their deck is like.
SoU has definitely shaken up the Wild Meta, which is nice after RoS basically did nothing. My biggest concern is Burn Mage. The tools they received have made them have little to no weakness. Flame Ward in particular has made it so they can't be out-aggroed anymore. Secret tech is awful, doesn't help the matchup and just makes your other matchups worse.

Won't be any different than any shaman deck I've been playing at these ranks haha. Burn Mage isn't a favourable matchup for much atm. Their new tools they got in SoU has made them disgusting...

Burn mage is the bane of wild atm. Eater of secrets is the only tech for it, and yet I never draw an eater vs it. I always end up drawing the eater vs any class that doesn’t have secrets.
I’m playing at rank 4 in wild atm just farming shaman wins (110 away from golden hero!) so I’ll try out your deck for sure. I could use some more variety in my grind!

OOC is where you should be. The community here is better than hpwn could ever be. All the best from hpwn came here, and the team that runs this site truly cares about the game, the community, and making the best website for everything hearthstone (and other ccgs).
While yes the amount of people here is smaller than hpwn at it's peak, people are very active here and overall are much more positive, helpful and encouraging than anything that happened on hpwn.
The site is also still just in infancy. They have made major changes and strides since they launched, but they are working every day on making changes/improvements and implementing new features. And they are constantly communicating what features they have planned and are in process of making.
And the mods are responsive! I just last night made a suggestion of something I'd like to see on the homepage. The team responded quickly, and by this morning, the feature I had suggested was implemented. You won't find that on any other hearthstone site.
My point, large numbers of forum dwellers that hpwn had at it's peak, doesn't make a good forum. The quality of people, and a caring mod group is what makes a good forum. OOC has both of those.
Visit this site daily, and you will see. They are constantly putting out various articles making this by far the best place to get together and talk hearthstone.

Side note, Shaman buffs were hands down the best. Thunderhead is amazing, and The Storm Bringer, while definitely can be great for memes, is awesome as a secondary win condition in any token deck.

I thought it was more than just deck comments, but I could be mistaken, and I don't visit hpwn anymore (OOC is my home). Definitely don't want to overcrowd the homepage, but I think highlighting where comments are on other pages besides forums would be vital to encourage discussion.
Definitely down the line. Much more important things and features I know you all have your hands full with already!

Aside from Luna's being a mistake (we can debate about extra arms, I personally don't think it needed to be reverted) The buffs did as little as they should have, and I think they were a success
1. they got people playing with different cards and testing, which was a refresher to the meta at the time
2. they didn't overpower the meta and cause major power swings (again, I'm saying in regards to everything except Luna's).
Nerfs do more to shake up the meta, it's only logical that they do. The top decks and problem cards can be targeted, thus effecting the entire meta to shift to the change of power.
Buffs shouldn't do this. They should give some cool cards that ended up being duds, a 2nd chance.
Buffs need to be an experiment and taken lightly, since they have no data on how the buffed cards could effect the meta.
I'm all for more buffs in the future. It is not the #1 way to keep the meta fresh, but it is another way to keep things interesting and fun. Much better than burning out on the same stale meta for months on end just waiting for a new xpac.

Are there any plans to add a “latest comments” section on the home page? It’s one of the only things I feel is missing from the home page, and I think it would be good to bring attention to new comments posted on different pages (cards, decks, guides etc.) to encourage discussion on those pages.
Just a thought. I know hearthpwn had this feature, and I always enjoyed seeing what random pages of cards/decks people were having discussions on, and joining in.

I was running him mainly for fatigue/meme purposes. He’s a card I unpacked but never get much chance to use. I figured it’d be fun to throw him in a meme greedy deck. The only time I used him was late enough in the game that I didn’t have any issues with my Singleton cards being effected. Plus it was a match vs an academic espionage rouge, so being able to reload my deck was very useful. I would have lost that match without him. There’s definitely better options to run, but if you just want some good memes, he’s a great card.
This would at least prevent the early turn 4/3 auto-concede moment that isn't super frustrating to deal with.
How is turn 4/5 auto-concede moment any less frustrating? If anything that's more frustrating because you have to waste time on another turn waiting to see if they have Barnes.
This nerf completely misses the point that countless forums have been explaining.
This nerf is a huge slap in the face to wild players.

Just going to copy over my 2 cents from the new article:
While nice to have 2 extra turns before he comes out, I don't think this nerf is going to do anything. Warrior has too many board clears so this nerf isn't going to effect them. The biggest problem is the "all mechs have Rush" mechanic and armor gain. This does nothing and I'm sorely disappointed that Blizz decided to try and take the easy way out by only nerfing the mana cost.

Changing up the meta isn't a huge fail. It keeps the game interesting. It's good to have the meta shaken up in various ways. That can be nerfs, buffs, or reverting the buffs. This is good they are being more active in changing up the meta, and aren't just making the buffs they make permanent.

Barnes changes will do nothing about Big Priests. While losing to a turn 3/4 Barnes was the most un-fun, this doesn't solve the underlying mechanic problem with the graveyard. Turn 4/5 Barnes will still be un-fun to play against. But I guess progress is better than hearing "We need more data" for the 100th time.
Conjurer's Calling was needed and should help. But doesn't address the problem with discounted giants. It was wishful thinking that Blizz would address a more complex issue instead of just adding mana cost to the card that was only a small part of the issue.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy was a mistake to buff to 5 mana. Glad they have admitted their mistake. First round of buffs was a learning experience. Hopefully they have learned to not buff cards that have the potential to be broken.
Extra Arms change seems unnecessary. Priest has only 1 good deck in standard, and this was the enabler. While I don't think it will kill the archetype, the win rate will take a major hit. Poor standard priest players :(
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius while nice to have 2 extra turns before he comes out, I don't think this nerf is going to do anything. Warrior has too many board clears so this nerf isn't going to effect them. Your new list. My winrate is now about 50%, I think I just had a really bad run of matchups and card draw. It happens
Congrats on legend! I have not been having the same success with this deck. I'm running approx 25% win rate.
"Everyfin made my dreams come true, and it can do it for you too!" - Sir Finley Mrrgglton
"Mrrglurggl!!" - Megafin
"I fucking hate murlocs" - random HS player who added me after losing to this deck

Pretty bad flavor text. The candles are to protect them from The Darkness, I don’t think anyone thought they wore them just for fun.

Guess we have to wait for a year+ of data before something is done about secret mage in wild. Since SoU, it’s become more prominent than BP
