So I actually ran some simulations in my head and in almost all currently existing matchups this is basically trash.

Best case scenario is you go second, tap on two , then tap on three and play this. That's the fastest you can drop it and the ideal scenario (later on he's just kind of....there).

Against Shaman they …

Or I could do something useful instead.

I would assume they printed it that way as to not make it an instant win but rather a payoff that allows you to keep tempo while tapping like a madman.

The problem is that there is no reason for it being that fair when so many other decks can snowball way harder for way less effort.

Couldn't …

I don't get why they would print something this pointless and boring. It doesn't have enough health to really slow down or pressure any tempo deck while you're tapping yourself to death.

Why do they hate Warlocks so much?

Really....this is what passes for a Legendary these days?

Come on, I just want Big Demon Warlock to be playable, how is this going to help? Couldn't they at least give it Rush? or Taunt? or Lifesteal?

Would Handlock even be playable in today's meta? Sure, it's not a bad card at all, but I feel like the days of Warlocks just stacking their hands is kind of long gone.

I guess we're doing this again.

Honestly, that might not be such a bad plan. Rogue definitely has the draw now and the ability to shuffle multiple plushies while maintaining tempo and drawing into them on a regular basis doesn't sound horrible

My god, some of you are unreasonably optimistic about this.

Honestly, just about the ideal scenario and realise how bad it is:

You start with 4 cards, one of which is the quest. You spend turn 1 playing it. You then are lucky enough to have both Knight of Anointment and First Day of School in your hand …

Probably really funny whenever it shows up randomly

Necrium was a failure because it didn't actually make Deathrattle Rogue. It made Cheese Rogue that uses a specific two part combo to just scam the game.

It's like saying Freeze Mage works because Spell MAge runs [card]Brain Freeze[/card]

It's not bad but I'll need to see the deathrattles first. If you don't get this on curve it just gets worse later on (unless we have some insane gamewinning deathrattle).

Also, I wonder how this works with certain deathrattles that work with minion stats (like [card]Sergeant Sally[/card])

Well, here we go again. Let's see how they fail to make it work this time

I don't want to call it bad yet, but it seems sort of redundant.

Libram Paladin already has a better version of this and what other Control Paladin deck would there be?

yeah no, spending your turn 1 on the quest, having to play a bunch of weak cards only to then get a card to support your actual gameplan which is summoning a bunch of dudes.

This is literally just Un'goro Quest Hunter except somehow worse

Basically super Fungalmancer but only for Demons...which means it's not gonna work because ever since they removed Voidwalker things just haven't been the same

Assuming we're getting a decent amount of new Fel spells and assuming some of those are damage boosts of some sort then this could be a legit finisher in...some kind of deck. I have no idea what that could be, but gaining a ton of attack and smacking your opponent with it sounds pretty good.

I have no idea what to do with this, but it costs 2-mana so it cannot be bad.
