  • I mean...they'd still go face at the end of the day

  • True, but there are instances where they could have gotten cost reduction on their weapon removal (for instance rawing Rustrot Viper off Living Seed).

Also you could face a wall of taunts that need to be destroyed before you can hit face, eating up your charges (even if the mana burn probably still wins you the game).

  • Dire Frenzy should do the trick. Hunter has like 3 different Beast Tutors so it's not impossible to get them all in time. At least as a meme deck it should work (and if it becomes competitive then god help us all).

  • You can shuffle it in Hunter and use their beast tutors to get it out as fast as possible (and also create more boars than necessary which is good against transformation effects and Mutanus).

The question is, is trying so awkwardly race your opponent by shuffling pigs and doing nothin of general value better than just straight up killing them.

Hunter definitely has the draw at this point, but can you realistically build a deck around trying to turbo draw a bunch of crappy piglets while also fighting for the board (without running too many beasts so your tutors don't get polluted) and not being able to heal because you're Hunter.

Rogue can do it if they get a big shuffle effect. Priest can't because they don'T have copy effects thus far.

  • If you trigger the Deathrattle on your own turn it's not issue (and it shouldn't be too hard to shoot a 1/1) and once you swing they won't have the mana to play even Ooze (outside of random cost reduction scenarios)

  • I mean, it technically can proc the reward again after you've played gotten 7 boars, but it won't count towards it because it's the actual pig that needs to die while the deathrattle is literally just the sword.

Although, if this somehow does become a deck, Vectus would probably be in case of weapon removal or if 45 damage isn't enough.

  • You can run 2, meaning you'll only need to create 5 more.

Hunter is obviously the easiest choice, but I feel like it would be kind of pointless. Rogue would be great thanks to Grand Empress, but they no longer have actual shuffle support. Technically Druid can do it to with Menagerie Warden and Germination and all that nonsense.

I'm assuming there might be some more neutral support for it.

At the end of the day it's probably gonna be another Highkeeper Ra. It doesn't matter if you can realistically assemble the combo, if the result doesn't win the game on the spot it's probably not worth it.

  • Honestly sounds like a better win condition than the Priest Quest.

  • So for some reason I read this as "players draw a card at the start and end of each turn", but no, it's actually just Nat Pagle on crack.

Now I'm not sure what kind of deck would run this, but I feel like the days of not having enough draw might finally be over...for everyone.

I honestly think this might be enough to help classes like Hunter to not be forced to just go aggro because they don't have the card draw to fight the long game against control. It's a pretty fantastic topdeck for any class that can take control of the board and play from ahead.

    Also, what an absolute unit.

  • I mean who else would it be? There aren'T two many orc girl with red mohawks running around Stormwind I'd assume

  • Maybe full tribal Pirate Warrior is a theme this expansions and this goes in there. Hard to justify that over just going regular Menagerie Rush Warrior though.

  • I mean...good...but...why? Control Pirates? I don't think so. Does Rush Warrior need spell based removal?

Honestly feels more like a flavour card because apparently Rokara is going for piracy in this one.

  • About time since  they are no longer going to print damaging removal spells like Bogbeam anymore. I really hope we get more ways to gain armor as well.

  • It's kind of like a mini Illidari Inqusitor if you think about it. You can use it to deal with 2 smaller minions in a turn and if it isn't removed it can give you even more attack value.

I guess now the only question is actually having the health to keep attacking.

  • Now that is a strong tempo tool. Midrange Beast Druid is actually a consideration now.

  • Boring Evolve support. The deck isn't gonna happen anytime soon and it shouldn't because it's complete nonsense.

Also it's not a Nature spell so good luck drawing it.

  • impossible, how would they even get here in time?

  • This is great in Druid because of the Tradeable keyword. Normally Druid really suffers from getting a bad mulligan. If this ends up in your opening hand you can easily just toss it turn 1 (since you usually don't do anything else anyways) and get a chance for something more useful...and later on it's just always a good play to stabilize.

  • Wait this is nuts. It's 4/14 worth of stats with taunt...for 6. Compare that to Sleepy Dragon. And it's for Druid, a class that is notorious for struggling with staying alive until they hit their powerspikes. How many aggressive decks can easily punch through this?
