Swim has released a new video highlighting decks to watch for in this weekend's seasonal tournament. He does a good job breaking down both the popular meta decks as well as some unique gems from some of the finalists.
Meta Decks
Swim starts his video reviewing some meta decks which were well-represented in the open rounds and can be expected to be seen this weekend as well. While these decks are undoubtedly old-hat to most experienced players, it is nice to see him give a quick overview to new and inactive players.
Unique Gems
For showcasing competitor-specific decks, he started with Tempo13X's updated mono-SI deck. Fans of the site might recall this was a deck we previously covered in our "Should you include Stalking Shadows" article; this version has been slightly updated for the tournament including, ironically, replacing the aforementioned with 2x Passage Unearned to shutdown Feel The Rush.
Next was Henneky's "Feel the Minah", a version of Trundle + Tryndamere Feel The Rush with Deny and Minah Swiftfoot to dominate control matchup.
Then was Jasensational's "truly unique" multifaceted Yasuo + Katarina + Zed deck, which takes the standard Yasuo + Kat archetype and splices in some threats like Kato The Arm and Might.
Aether87811's Leona + Aurelion Sol deck is a Daybreak-centric that splashes Ionia for Deny and Nopeify!.
Finally is Serket's Funsmith deck which runs a whopping 31 spells, almost all of which gain value from Funsmith's passive ability. Interestingly, Corina Veraza is not one of the few units in this deck; however Commander Ledros is there to put opponents on a clock in slower matchups.

I'm not the biggest Swim fan, but this video it's very interesting.
Wasn't expecting fearsome not being one of the "big" of the meta, i don't know if the meta shown in the video it's NA, but i'd say in EU it's more frequent. (EDIT: i'm stupid, i just realized that the "meta" shown in the video it's only considering the decks of the 32 Americas top players... Btw the diversity it's great, more than 21 different decks just from those 32 players)
The line up FTR - fearsome - X (a deck with generally good match ups) it's great, i did bring a similar one, with Ez-Draven instead of TF go hard, because i am pretty confident with that deck and it was the only deck i was sure to bring in the tournament.
In the end i was unlucky with Ez-Draven in the very first set and i ended up 4-1, i think my line-up was all right, as i never played in a tournament and i'm happy with my result.
I'll surely watch EU tournament tomorrow, but probably i'll even watch Americas, as i find the tournament games so much more enjoyable than ladder ones
