Rhino's Phu just announced on Discord that the end of the current season is being pushed back to January 25th:

Hey folks, we'll be moving the season end date to the Jan 25th, and plan on patching to update it in game on Monday, before the currently stated end date & time.

And on January 5th, the official Mythgard Twitter account posted a poll asking players when they think the expansion is coming:

So, a Mythgard expansion is coming this month! But when do YOU think it will release?
 
  • Tuesday 12th January - 16.9%
  • Friday 15th January - 27.1%
  • Wednesday 20th January - 23.7%
  • Thursday 28th January - 32.2%

As you can see, one of the options, and the one that had the most votes at the end of the poll, is January 28th. These two facts together make that date the most likely one for the expansion to launch.
