This bundle is available through November 1, 2021.

  • I was kinda hoping to reroll mercanaries legendary quest for a Hearthstone one.  

    Can only remove it though - ah well.  

  • Actually better deals than the pre-orders. I think pre-order people have a legitimate complaint here if they want to press Blizzard on it.

    • With preorder you got a diamond frame and the mercenaries come with some voice lines in that form, so i guess you paid for extra bling.

    • Oh yes please! Its such a great price point, you can put anything there that's even the tiniest bit of a deal and it'll get swooped up. I'm so surprised they don't use it alongside a regular expansion launch.

      • I don’t know a lot about the psychology behind F2P games, but my guess is that they found that $5 deals are counterproductive. If you buy it, then a week later when a $20 sale appears you’ll decide you can pass because you just bought something. Not EVERYONE will think that way, of course, but if just 25% of $5 deals keep someone from buying a $20 deal, then it’s not worth it.

        It looks like Hearthstone reserves the $5 price point for introductory deals only. New players also get (got?) a $5 deal on normal card packs. The thinking behind this is apparently that it gets the player used to spending money. 

        • The aim of this bundle is introduce the payment to players. Who pays once, even a small amouňt, is more inclined pay again

          • I don't imagine there is a very large demographic of players who would be willing to spend $5 that aren't willing to spend $10. If you aren't used to spending, you won't spend. If you are used to spending, the difference of a few dollars won't deter you.

            • There IS a fairly large contingent of players who would make one $10 purchase but not two $5 purchases. Psychology is funny like that.
