Master Duel's latest update adds a large number of cosmetics in the game, including new Mates, Protectors to keep your digital cards safe, and a brand new board. Let's see what they have in store, literally!

New Board - Realm of Danger!

The biggest addition is almost certainly the new "Realm of Danger!" board. This is a representation of where the Monsters in the Danger! archetype live, which also got a Solo Gate today.

You can purchase the new board from the shop for 600 Gems.

Three New Mates Arrive

No Mates in the Shop, but there are two new ones in in the Solo Mode and a third one from the upcoming Fusion Festival.

The first can be found at the end of Duel Strategy 2. It is the Book of Moon, a... book that you click/tap on to make it flip its pages.

The second is the Jackalope, the tri-dimensional representation of the Monster Danger!? Jackalope?. Clicking/tapping the wee fella will make it jump and disappear in a puff of smoke, only to come back shortly afterwards. You can find the little guy by completing The Danger Files.

Lastly, there's the Instant Instant Noodles Mate, representing the cup on Instant Fusion, that can be obtained but gaining 5500 Medals in the Fusion Festival.

Two New Protectors

Two new Protectors (card backs) have been added to the shop. They are themed around the WIND and FIRE attributes on the game, which means we could get the other 4 at some point in the future. You can get them in the shop for 100 Gems each.

Three New Icons

Lastly there 3 new icons to be obtained. There are the Fallen of Albaz and Thunder Dragon Colossus in the shop for 50 Gems a pop, and there's a Danger! Nessie! on in the same gate as the Jackalope mate.
