CARDSBALANCE UPDATES
America Chavez - [6/10] -> [6/9]
Developer Comment: America Chavez sees a very high amount of play in various deck archetypes right now. We are nerfing her Power down to make other options more enticing.Crossbones: [4/8] You can only play this at locations where you are winning.
Developer Comment: This is mostly a wording change. It only really affects Crossbones’s interaction with Bar With No Name. We think this new text will make the card clearer and easier to understand quickly.Ebony Maw - [1/6] -> [1/7]
Developer Comment: We are giving Ebony Maw a bit more Power to make playing around his heavy limitations more rewarding.Ghost Rider - [3/3] -> [4/3]
Developer Comment: Ghost Rider will often be an outlier in Power due to the amount of Power he can 'cheat' out. We are nerfing his Cost to make his resurrection come at a higher price.Ka-Zar - [4/5] -> [4/4]
Developer Comment: Ka-Zar tends to give a bit too much Power right now, so we are taking his base Power down a notch.Okoye - [1/1] -> [2/2]
Developer Comment: Okoye as a 1-Cost proved to be too powerful as an opener, so we are nerfing her to a 2-Cost and giving her a little extra Power.Scarlet Witch - [1/2] -> [2/3]
Developer Comment: Scarlet Witch is a bit too good at working around location selections right now. We are making her powers a bit more costly to preserve the stability of our locations from her reality warping.Scorpion - [3/3] -> [2/2]
Developer Comment: Scorpion is a rather weak card right now. With this change, players should have much more freedom in how they utilize him.Strong Guy - [2/3] -> [4/4]
Developer Comment: Strong Guy was a very clear outlier in his power as a 2-Cost card. We also want him to be more of a build-around card to provide an "empty hand" avenue in the discard archetype, so we are increasing his Cost and giving him a small Power boost to compensate.Jubilee (OLD: On Reveal: Play the top card of your deck to this location.) NEW - On Reveal: Play a card from your deck to this location.
Developer Comment: Jubilee’s previous functionality had some unintended interactions with America Chavez, causing her to frequently pull Chavez, creating a near-guarantee “4 energy for 11 Power” play, which was not desired nor intended.Hulkbuster - Hulkbuster now no longer grants his Cost to the attached card
Developer Comment: Hulkbuster affecting Cost turned out to be largely unexpected by players. After further consideration, we believe this update will create more interesting and exciting gameplay and deck building experiences for players.Killmonger and Sandman - Available earlier on the Collection Level Road
Developer Comment: We like to make sure players have tools to counter major strategies before they get too deep in the Collection Level Road. We hope that moving these cards earlier in the collection level road will give players more options to deal with low-cost go-wide decks in the earlier stages of collection. If you’re already deep in the road and haven’t found these cards, your next 2 cards will be Killmonger and Sandman.GENERAL UPDATES
● Thor can now appear from effects that add random cards, such as Agent 13 or X-Mansion.
BUG FIXES● Attempting to fix an issue with getting stuck on Waiting for turn if no cards are played.
● Navigation Bar notification for upgradeable cards in the Collection does not show unless you also have enough Credits to upgrade the card.

● Filtering to cards while editing your deck no longer causes the cards to be grayed out.
● Improved the power update calculation speed of several cards (eg: Devil Dinosaur).
● Turned down the brightness on the Booster icon.
● Morph should now display properly after turning into another card.
● Fixed several location VFX that don’t move if the locations are shuffled.
● Miniaturized Lab now displays properly on Android.
● Lemuria should now use the correct art.
● Fixed America Chavez/Domino with Weirdworld not working correctly.

● Renamed UltraLegendary rarity to Ultra.
● Adjusted spacing between decks in card Collections.
● Fixed an interaction between The Collector and Sabretooth that would cause a crash.🚨 KNOWN ISSUES 🚨
With the update to Weekly Missions system, player’s Weekly Mission progress is reset once they update their game. Additionally, any unclaimed rewards will NOT be given in the new update, please collect rewards before updating to the newest patch.● Potential soft lock when upgrading cards at the end of a game. If you run into this issue, please restart the game.
● Infinity Cards ready to be split sort to the bottom of the Upgradeable list.
● Avatar assets may not load straight away when opening a reward - though you still get the avatars.
● Nexus Events won’t display/change straight away if you are on the shop screen when the new event is activated. This can be resolved by switching screens
● Occasionally, the Fast Upgrade section disappears in the Shop. This should be rare, but if you notice, please close and restart SNAP.
● You can buy variants for gold if they are still in the shop after you've earned that variant from other rewards. We are working on a fix, but in the meantime, please avoid buying duplicates.
● The Gold section in the Shop is missing occasionally.
● The Card Upgrade ping in the Collection screen can appear “dim”, a little too faint. Please note that this is a purely visual issue.
Comments
Bwahahaha. Reddit just lost it. And I mean, it's justified. When players spent money to get things they want, and they nerf it, it would surely replied with a pitchfork. Consequences.
But it's all expected from mobile games. They are in it for money and that's it. Money stops coming, and they will tweak it a little.
I can't see this thing going to be popular if they're already losing support when this thing still in beta.
I know this place has a hard on for Brode, but I wish the horrendous and predatory FOMO monetization this game has would be covered more, especially with this update.
The whole point of Second Dinner was they have 100% control of the game, including monetization.
This is BBrode and Co being greedy and predatory.
Basically, they're introducing loot boxes into the game. Pretty much everything about sounds scammy from the title "Nexus Event" not being an event or arena game mode but rather just loot boxes to the fact that they're hiding a lot of details from public view.
These Nexus Events happen twice a month, introducing new cards which might or might not be meta breaking btw (and you can't get these until weeks after it ends). Each pull costs approximately 4 dollars (a bit less). The shop says that you're guaranteed a rare reward from 10 pulls and it's the first thing you see. HOWEVER, it does not mention that the cards shown are super rare rewards and that super rare rewards has 1.5% drop rate and has a pity of 50 pulls not 10.
So to get a card guaranteed which you probably will because it's a fucking 1.5% chance, it costs approximately less than 200 dollars. And there's 2 cards. And there's 2 Nexus Events per month.
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
They removed guaranteed cards that you can get on the collection rewards into a mystery reward that may contain a card or credits at higher collection levels. The upside to that is that these rewards become more common so maybe a good thing? However, looking at Nexus Events, I don't have high hopes nor do I trust the fact that they're stating that it's better than the old system.
Just to make things extra shitty, 2 card art variants are included in the super rare pool. While you won't pull a variant before pulling its base card, it means that your odds of pulling the new card (Jane Foster), arguably the more desirable of the 2 headliners given its synergy with the last new card (Thor), as your first super rare is always 50%, whether or not you already own the other headliner (Destroyer). Bottom line: be prepared to spend twice as much if you only want Jane Foster, thrice if you want both.
What an egregious whale hunt this "event" had turned out to be, targeting those who've already put money in the game: season pass holders and those far along the collection level. People are justifiably disappointed because it was hyped as an alternative method of card acquisition when it's just an insane option for the majority of us.
Wow. I don’t play the game yet, but I just went and checked on the reaction in Reddit. Now, I expect most people on Reddit to be angry about any update. But even so, I was shocked at the level of vitriol. People are furious, and I can’t find a single person willing to defend i.
I guess this is why it’s still in beta. Hopefully they change quickly. Otherwise, I think the game is in trouble.
