MARVEL SNAP's new community event, Hero Hype, is ongoing and players are pumping up the jam to get closer and closer to earning rewards. You get one Record for each Cube you win, but you double that take by including one of the week's featured cards; in this case, that's Gambit and Rogue.
If you're looking for decks to play that can boost your event contribution for this week, then we've got some options to help you do just that.
Rogue
On Reveal: Steal an Ongoing ability from a random enemy card at this location.
Rogue fits in decks that want to steal one of their opponent's powerful Ongoing effects and use it for themselves, and we've got three decks that can make the best use of that ability.
First is a Miracle style list that can turn its cards on their heads with Mister Negative (turning Rogue into an affordable [1/3]) and buff all its 3-Cost cards with Silver Surfer. The idea is to play as many cards as possible on turn 6, whether that's with the Negative flip, or with the Ongoing effect from Sera.
Ongoing Destroyer is a very powerful deck, loading up a location with decent Ongoing effects protected by Armor, then winning another location with Destroyer or buffing everything with Spectrum. Rogue fits fairly decently into the archetype, since there's plenty of Ongoing effects to steal form your opponent.
Our last Rogue deck is very controlling, and adept at using its opponent's plays against them. Rogue fits into the mid-game as a way to steal an Ongoing effect you don't want your opponent to have.
Gambit
Discard a card from your hand. Destroy a random enemy card.
Weirdly enough, the best decks that fit with Gambit are decks that like to discard cards. Go figure.
This Discard deck feeds its discard effects to Lockjaw or doubles them with Wong, juicing up Morbius while making a very big Apocalypse to discard at game's end with Dracula. As a discard effect that also can knock off your opponent's cards, Gambit fits like a glove.
Hela is another way to go big on turn 6 with discard, summoning back all those big bodies that you sacrificed with Gambit or Lady Sif.
Our final deck is, surprisingly, not all about discard - it's a Patriot deck! Gambit doesn't fit well with Patriot, but he does fit well with Silver Surfer, who is actually really good with Patriot, Brood, and Cyclops, among others. The ideal play for Gambit is on turn 6 alongside Silver Surfer, so you can snipe one of your opponent's cards without worrying about the discard drawback.
Hearts Wild Bundle
And a quick reminder that you can pick up two 90s Variants of Rogue and Gambit in the Shop (along with two Avatars and 1500 Credits) for $29.99 USD.

Most players crying in pool 1 or pool 2.
yeah, bit weird to start the event off with the only couple that doesn't have at least one card from pool 1 or 2; maybe they're trying to get people to buy the bundle.
