Ubisoft released the trailer for the next Assassin's Creed game, releasing November 15th. Subtitled Shadows, the game will see players explore Japan as two different characters, being able to take control of the samurai Yasuke and the shinobi Naoe.

Aside from the reveal trailer, there's also a video going into detail about the two protagonists. Yasuke will be more combat-focused, with his samurai abilities allowing him to go toe-to-toe with big enemies, while Naoe will be stealth-focused, her shinobi skills allowing her to strike from the shadows to take down her foes.

Yosuke is the series' first protagonist to be an actual historical figure, with Naoe being the daugher of another real person in history, Fujibayashi Nagato. This game is also the first time players are able to control two distinct characters at the same time since 2015's Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
