How to play the Quest

So, the new quest seems to be activated by selfdamaging minions and spells in the present iterations.

Can it be done with a small horde? Cheeky anklebiter, the other that restore health etc? Even surrender to madness? It's just an idea.

Deck below is just concept, thinking of more small critters.

  • I think you should squeeze in some card draw, like Northshire Cleric.  Priest requires a lot of cards in hand.  Also, I would say that Circle of Healing will not only help you achieve your Quest goal, but help when you drop Injured Blademaster and Injured Tol'vir

  • Ofcourse Hydrafrog is correct - card draw. With a list without it, I'd burn through the cards and sit with one minion and my opponent with 5-6 cards on hand, when I completed the quest. If the minion held I could win, but if it was removed I was down to topdecking and that never works.

    So, card draw. Northshire Cleric. And then an AoE healing like Circle of Healing can help, but only if you have other creatures on the board.
    I've tried some games with micro aggression, Lightwarden and even Young Priestess, but even though Lightwarden was popular in zoo decks recently I am not talented enough to get it to work. I run out of steam.

    So, back to slower taunts, big minions and resurrect. I am not a Priest main, but I got the quest as my free legendary of the expansion so I'll try to make it work for me.

  • I'm also experimenting with midrange Quest Priest, but I'm not yet satisfied with any of my lists. I run Power Word: Shield and Questing Explorer in addition to Northshire Cleric + Circle of Healing for card draw. And I use Extra Arms in the decks with Lightwarden, which tend to be more aggressive.
