Card buying limit?

So I was buying packs from the latest expansion (AoO) and bought them by bunches of 10. After buying 20 packs with hard-earned f2p gold, I decide to buy some more. Then I realize packs from Ashes of Outland are no longer being offered in the shop and I had just mistakenly bought 10 packs from Descent of Dragons :'(

After logging off and back o, packs from AoO were available again. Is this a hack prevention strategy from blizzard's server? I wonder...

Too bad for my wasted gold. But hey, on the 10th DoD pack, I got a golden Chenvaala. So...karma ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Doesn't sound intentional. They'd get a lot of shit from the community if that was a design decision.

    At least you ended up with a golden legendary, lol.

  • Same thing happened to me, the shop didn’t show the battle pass or AoO packs. I even clicked away from the shop and entered it again and it still didn’t show them. Eventually I just quit the game and started it again and it was fixed

  • Because of that I accidently bought DoD packs...

  • That sucks guys! I feel your pain as I am someone who has accidentally spent all his gold on the wrong packs back in the day because the expansion highlighted in the shop was the expansion cards you last purchased. And yes, I did this more than once and felt REALLY stupid about it haha.
