Boompistol Bully Interaction

I was under the impression that Blizzard had patched the interaction between Boompistol Bully and Galakrond, but I was playing on mobile, and my opponent drew with Togwaggle's wand, got Galakrond, and drew 4 cards… all for 3 mana, did I misunderstand the patch, or is that a bug? Has it happened to anyone else after the latest patch?

  • I think the interaction is:

    If you already drew with Wondrous Wand and made 3 cards 0 cost, and your opponent then plays Boompistol Bully, your 0 cost battlecry cards will now cost 5.

    However, if you play Boompistol Bully and then they play Wondrous Wand, those cards that would have cost 5 more becomes 0.

    If I'm not mistaken, the effect of both cards are based solely on when they are played. So at the time of playing, bully turns 0 cost into 5, while wand turns 5+ into 0.
