Using both versions of cards

This just occurred to me, but is it possible to put both the original and event version of a card in a Wild deck? For example, if you own the WoG version of N'Zoth, the Corruptor, making a deck with two of them? Or does the game filter that?

I don't have any wild cards, much less the original versions of the temporary cards, so I can't check it myself.

  • I believe I said "in a Wild deck."

    • It's actually a valid question. I just tested it, and no you can't. However, both versions of the card do appear side by side. As soon as you add one to the deck, they both get that little flag that says you can only have one.

  • I don't know why Knives didn't seem to understand I wasn't asking about Standard mode. I went into the game and I could see that it would allow me to use the event version when building a Wild deck, but that's as far as I could test things. Two copies of Ragnaros the Firelord would be fun (maybe not for the opponent) but oh well.
