Only in Wild: A Loss at 2591 Armor

Haven't been playing Wild for a while. Tried out the "Greener Choice" deck (which is great BTW), and this happened:

Only in Wild!

My opponent played Linecracker, 2x BEEEES!!! into it, then 2x Earthen Scales. 2591 armor yay!

But hey, I still won :P My Jade dudes were at least 5-6 steps ahead, so I hung on to the board and slammed his face in so many times, while he was chipping away 3 damage at a time with Malfurion the Pestilent. It was such a long game I was scared it would be called a draw.

Anyways GG to my opponent, it was a pretty intense marathon!

  • I had that exact same game once, my opponent had that combo and I had a bunch of jades. he ended up winning because he didn't kill my jades so they never got above 12/12 or so. they would have been at about 28/28 if he had killed them.

I was taking 3 damage at a time, he was taking like 50, he sill won though. that deck is near impossible for slower decks.

Yeah it's super busted. Feels like Linecracker shouldn't get the overkill effect, since he's not the one attacking.

Combo druid isn't a strong archetype at all. Not only is this a combo that doesn't even win you the game on the spot (unlike cards such as Mecha'thun) it also loses to a single Skulking Geist. No card of this combo needs adjustment.

  • Yeah repost #24249359

  • Faced a druid that did a combo like that and got like 1280 armor. He was probably not happy when I won with Mecha'thun combo. Lol

  • Someone played that against me when I was playing Reno Lock... they got the Mech off before me... I was pretty damned sad
