Unlock Arthas with Uldum standard decks

Hello all,

 

As the title states I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with unlocking Arthas (Beating the Lich King with every class), using  the Uldum standard set. I started playing again this year, last time was during season 1-3, so I have literally zero wild cards and don’t waste dust if I don’t have to. 

I have tried google and the real only advice I have seen is to try murlocs or the below. Which idk what the decks would fully look like, besides a pogo rogue.

Priest (Dragons + Inner Fire)

Hunter (Spell Hunter + Mossy Horror)
Paladin (Young Dragonhawk + buff + Secrets + small taunts)
Rogue (Pogo)
Druid (Jade)
Shaman (Eggs)
Warrior, Warlock and Mage (Alarm-o-Bot + big taunts/minions)

Any any advice would be much appreciated.

  • As far is i remember i used Molten Giants as mage to kill Lich King in turn 3 or 4 or so. You may have to restart a few times to ensure u have them in your opening hand though. If you have them from your early days i would give it a shot.

  • Most classes have a chessy strategy to beat him, giving enough retries to get the perfect hand.

  • If you have Mecha'thun, I was just able to beat the Lich King with Paladin using a Mecha'thun+Skaterbot+Subdue combo (with 2x Galvanizer to discount the mechs). The deck I used had a few wild cards in it, but the ones it had were either card draw or heals to help me stall out the game until I drew out my deck and not actually necessary to pull off the combo itself. There was a Warrior deck I borrowed from the internet that also used Mecha'thun to beat him, but I can't remember right now if it needed any wild cards.

  • Mechwarper x2+Faceless on the Mechwarper+Sn1P-Sn4P on a previously played Galvanizer, which the LK ignores during his Frostmourne phase. That’s how I beat him with the last 2 classes I needed (Warrior and Paladin)

  • Sweet thanks for some tips everyone. I'll fursure be giving the Molten Giants a shot, as well as some mech builds. After that I'll turn back to google to see if I can find any of the cheese strategies.

  • As an update, so far was able to abuse the Jade Idol druid for a win and abuse the Scavenging Hyena with Hunter for a win. Sadly found out I don't have Molten Giant, so may have to dig around for other tactics.
